~ Layla's POV ~

I got Faith from upstairs and we went home. When he got home my mom had left a note saying she had business to attend to

I start to make some dinner. I finished making dinner and then me and Faith started eating at the table

Faith : Mami ?

Layla : Yea ?

Faith : Is dad coming tomorrow ?

Layla : No baby... he's busy

Faith : With that other girl ?

Layla : Uhm... I don't know baby

Faith : You're prettier Mami

Layla : Thank you baby

Faith gives a smile and nods

We finish eating and I take her upstairs to her room. I go back downstairs and start to wash the dishes until I heard some glass break from downstairs

I immediately stop the water and grab a knife. As I go to search the house I come across a man in my living room

He points a gun to me

Guy : Oh there you are. Jonathan wanted me to tell you hello and that he's in town

A smirk grew on the guys face and shot his gun. I closed my eyes, shutting them tightly but then realized I wasn't shot. It was a fake confetti gun

I run up to Faith's room to see her sleeping there peacefully. I sigh in relief and go lay next to her

I then start to fall asleep

THE NEXT DAY . . .

The next day me and Faith moved in with my mom temporarily. She was confused why, but didn't ask

I then get a call

Alejandro : Hey Layla

Layla : Hey Ale

Alejandro : So I was wondering if you could come to the club with me, Kai, Kayla, Mattia and his hoe

Layla : I don't know ...

Alejandro : Pleasee and it would be perfect. We could just have your mom take care of Faith and Mateo

Layla : Uhmm

Alejandro : Layla please. Have some fun

Layla : Fine

Alejandro : Yess. Ok meet us at your moms house

Layla : Ok

I hung up and went to the living room with mom and Faith

Layla : Hey ma, is it ok if I could go out and you watch Faith and Mateo ?

I go upstairs and watch TV. Two hours later I start to get dressed

I hear Kayla say from downstairs. I then go downstairs and see Kayla. I hug her

She looks at me

Faith : I love you Mami

I give her a hug and then she runs off with Mateo

I say bye to mom then go in a car with Kayla, Mattia, his hoe, Kairi, and Alejandro

Hoe : Ugh why is she here ?

Layla : Why are you here ?

Hoe : Because I'm with MY man

Layla : Well did you know I had HIS baby. Exactly hoe shut the fuck up

Kairi : Pop off !

Kayla starts to break out laughing

Mattia : Stop being mean to her guys

I roll my eyes

We get to the club and sit down and start drinking. 30 minutes pass and at this point I was bored so I dragged Kayla onto the dance floor

We start dancing and I could tell Mattia was staring at me

I start dancing bachata by myself until Mattia grabs my hand and starts dancing with me

I wasn't going to argue so i just danced along with him. Our bodies had no room left in between them. They were completely touching

I look up at Mattia to him staring at my lips. I had the sudden urge to just kiss him, but I didn't. He's a cheater and heartbreaker

He grips my waist tighter and I go even more close to him. At this point I can feel his member

The song finished and we were about to kiss, but Kayla interrupted us

Kayla : Layla your moms spamming you, call her

I nod and walk back over to the table and call her

Layla : Hey mom

Y/m : Layla *muffled sounds* !

Layla : Wait say that again

Y/m : Someone took Faith! I couldn't stop him

My eyes widened and I hung up.

Layla : We need to go NOW !

I got up but then shots starting going off. Mattia brought his arm over me and brought us to the floor. He covered me

I got out from under Mattia and ran outside to the car, Kayla and the guys followed and get in the car. I speed off

Kayla : Layla what's wrong ?!

I start to sob while driving

Alejandro : Layla you're scaring us !

Layla : It's the kids !

Mattia : Layla, what about the kids !?

Layla : Jonathan's back in town

I wasn't looking at them, but I could tel their eyes widened

Kairi : How do you know ??

I ignored his question and got home. I instantly got out the car and ran to the front door... it was open

I opened it slowly with everyone behind me ... I see Mateo sitting and crying in front of my moms dead body

I gasp

Kayla & Kairi : Mateo !

They run up to him. I go to my moms body

Mattia : Faith ! Faith !

Layla : She's gone

Mattia : And I'm sorry for your loss but-

Layla : I'm not talking about my mom... Faith is gone ! That son of a bitch took my daughter
