• His uncle sorta abuses him?
Like, physically, not really. Maybe just acts like he's gonna do something to hurt him and doesn't do it. (As actually seen when Hunter brought up Wild Magic near the end of episode 6) And when Belos does something, it's seen as nothing to anyone else but he's actually hurting Hunter. (As seen when Belos grabbed Hunter's shoulder after the monster version of Belos came out) Anyways. Mental abuse. I feel like Belos mentally abuses Hunter. Hunter's only 16. He's 16 and is the head guard (don't quote me on that), leader of the emperors cabin (again), the nephew of the king (?) and so much more. He also has to do missions to please his only family. And not to mention Belos saying, "I can't let the same happen to you." Ah, yes. The classic "I'm only doing this for your own good/to protect you." And he's also said, "Is this the thanks I get for taking you in?" Guilt shaming too? You be the judge of that.
