Okay so.
Luz has Palicestern(?) wood and she gets to basically carve a palicemen. This is my theory for that.
She's probably thinking ahead for when she returns to the human realm, so she wants a little bit of everything from her friends. I have a feeling she'll try to mix all the animals. Cat ears for Amity, owl wings for Eda, Hooty, Owlbert, etc, horns or something for King, and all the other things. This'll be her way of remembering everyone once she makes it back home.
Another thing. I doubt this'll happen, but I like the concept on where she carves a blue jay just to be the opposite of Hunter and to keep the bird thing going for Eda and the others
