GIVE UP:Mina x Jisoo

Mina's POV

I first met Jisoo when I'm still a trainee.Its an unexpected encounter,actually.I was already friends with Nayeon that time.So when she met her friends,she brought me along.I was an introvert person,so I was very shy when I met her together with Jennie,another trainee from YG.I was sitting there quietly,when she approached me.

"Mina,right?Nayeon told me your name."She said,her heart shaped lips forming a smile.

"Y-Yeah."

"I'm Jisoo,by the way."She said as she offered me her hand so I took it.

"J-Jisoo unnie?"She chuckled.

"I think you already know that I'm as age as Nayeon."I noticed the cute pikachu keychain at her bag,and she noticed that I was eyeing it."Oh I like pikachu stuffs so much."She said.

"Chu."I mumbled.

"What?"

"My nickname for you.Chu."I said and finally smiled.She smiled too.

It's our first inkigayo stage!I finally got to debut with eight wonderful girls including Nayeon unnie.I was so damn nervous.I mean who wouldn't be?I walked at the stage and the crowd cheered.And at a corner,I saw the specific pikachu girl,cheering for us,smiling at me.

"Go Mitang!"She shouted.Its almost inaudible because of the noise but I heard it.It helped my nervousness eventually fade away.

"I..I can't take it anymore."I said.I was inside my room as I reached for a broke glass,attempting to hurt myself.

"Minari?Mitang?Open the door!"I heard a shout.I was about to hurt myself when the door opened.Jisoo quickly ran to me and hugged me."What the heck are you doing?"

"It's hard,Chu.Its hard to keep up with this image."I said and sobbed at her shoulder.I felt her hand softly carresing my hair.

"Don't give up,Mitang.You can do it.I know you can."She said.I hugged her tighter."I'm staying tonight.I don't have practice tomorrow.Cry as long as you want,I'm here to listen.Just..just don't do this again."She said.

I was given a break,thankfully.Jisoo used to go here to check on me,how much I'm grateful that she's here by my side.Today we're going out,like a date.We were in a a disguise,of course.Given that we are famous personalities we keep ourselves private.

"Minari!Let's go!"She said as she opened the door of my room.I smiled.

"Okay."I held her hand as we walked outside,riding a car.Her manager was driving for us.He drove us to our favorite restaurant,and we ate together.How much I love seeing her eating messily with her favorite chicken.How much I adore that bright smile in her face.Am I in love?After eating,we decided to have a walk at the Han River,and luckily no one's bothering us.She reached for my hand.

"Is Minguin doing great?"She asked.I smiled.

"Yeah.Maybe I'll be back after few days.The group needs me.And,I really appreciate everything you're doing for me,Chu.How much I'm glad that you're my friend.I appreciate everything."She smiled too.

"Anything for the cutest penguin in the world."

I got back from my work,I'm finally doing good.And the past few days I have no communication to Jisoo since she's busy preparing for a comeback so today I'm heading to their house,where her family is and her by this time.I want to surprise her!Her parents and family knows me,she brought me here a lot of times already.My forehead creased as I saw a police line outside.

"I'm going out first.Wait here."My manager said as she went out and I just nodded.My heart beat extremely fast,I'm nervous and I don't know why.Soon she went back."We're going at a hospital."

"What why?"I asked.

"Overdose.Jisoo drank some sleeping pills and they still don't know her state."

"What?!Drive fast!"I was gripping my hands tightly until we came at the hospital.I was not even in disguise,I don't care.Its Jisoo we're talking about here.We came at the emergency room,I saw her members.

"Where's Jisoo?"I asked.Then Jennie hugged me."W-Whats happening?"

"She..she didn't make it,Mina."Jennie whispered.My knees weakened,I sat lifelessly at one of those seats.Tears fell from my eyes.

"Why do you always tell me to not give up when you did?"
