Hey...
Yeah, this is pretty sad isn't it? I literally just ignored this book for a while.
I've been kind of brain stuck or have writer's block for the next chapter and it's caused me to avoid this for a while... So as an apology and a thanks to ursleepdeprived , I've decided to write a oneshot for you guys.
Sorry again for just straight up ditching this. Also, I missed a whole bunch of holidays. So shout out to those few holidays I guess lol.

Future me here, just letting y'all know that I'm not going to edit this one. Partially because I'm lazy, and partially because this doesn't really matter to the story line.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The moon is illuminating the dark night sky. Houses are visible, some are lit up, some aren't.
And oh, there they are. Will and (Y/N). Sitting on Will's bed. His very soft and comfortable bed, you might add.
Instead of going home after the dance, he decided to go sleep at Will's. Easier said then done. (Y/N) had to beg and whine and complain to Hopper, now known as his father, for what felt like half an hour. Whatever goal he was trying to accomplish by keeping her home? Well, said parent doesn't even know himself. But he soon gave up, seeing how determined you were to get him to agree with you staying over there for the night.
Which leads to you and Will talking and talking about a whole bunch of things. Seriously, it went from them talking about (Y/N)'s experience at the mall to Will's random theories about how people invited technology.
"Maybe there was some type of god that gave some random human an intuition? Or maybe they were just experimenting? How come they didn't write this down so people will know the history of this crap?" Will complained to you, his head resting on the (H/C) haired boy's lap.
"I don't know, I wish I knew more about it. Maybe I'd be as wise as you" You replied, shrugging. However, right after you said that, you yawned. As soon as he heard you, Will noticed how late it probably was.
"We should probably go to sleep." Will stated. Getting up about to go grab an extra blanket and pillow.
"Um... Will?" You called out, making Will pause and turn to meet your gaze. He replied with a hum, signalling for you to continue.
"Can I sleep with you... in the bed...?" You asked hesitantly.
He simply smiled softly at you and nodded walking to the light and switching it off.
You got under the covers and moved to the left, giving him some room. He got under the covers as well and lay on his back, facing the ceiling. You did the same, thinking about today.
Before the dance, it seemed that the time was just dragging for so long. It made you impatient and overthinking things. You didn't even wanna get out of bed this morning because you were so exhausted.
"Hey (Y/N)?" Will called, breaking you out of your thoughts.
You hummed, slightly looking at him from the corner of your eye.
"What do you think your future will look like?" He asked. Turning to face you.
You turn to face him and sigh. "I'm not sure Will. I can't do it without you though." You close your eyes, missing his surprised expression.
"W-why is that?" He asked.
"Well you were... the beginning of my life, I'd be happy... if you were there... until the end of it." You stated slowly, falling more and more out of consciousness with each word.
He smiled softly at your words. "I'd be happy if you'd do the same."
You smiled lightly, reaching out to grab his hand. Seeing this, he reached out and got a hold of yours.
"Good night (Y/N)."
"Good night Will."
And with that, you were both out like a light. Holding each others hands as the the dark sky slowly changes to a beautiful sunset. A sunset that they'll have to see soon. Sunset changes to the beautiful morning sky, the sun doing it's job to light up a part of the world.
You can see two boys, cuddling in their sleep. Completely careless about anything and everything else in the world but each other.
"Mmmm..." You clutch on to Will's shirt a little bit harder. Smiling in your sleep.
If anyone brought up a conversation, telling you that you were smiling like an idiot in your sleep, you'd probably reply in some sort of denial. But here you were, smiling like an idiot.
(Who wants to bet it's a dream about Will?)
Will pulls you closer, if that was even possible. He will always do the impossible, cause... It's Will.
Though, because of the impossible he just made possible, (Y/N)'s eyes snapped open. And when I tell you he processed this way too late, he processed this waaaaaay too late.
"Ummmm... (Y/N)? You alright?" Will asked. It had been about ten minutes since Will woke up, and you've been staring at him ever since.
Just like that, you snapped out of it, and managed to land face first on the ground.
"Ugh..." You groaned. Will leaped off the bed, almost falling with you in the process.
"Aye! Are you okay?!" He yelped in a panic.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." You sigh, laughing slightly. "I probably looked like an idiot. But that was funny dude." You both laugh and blush at the situation.
The door opens suddenly and you both jump at the interruption.
"Hey boys, breakfast is-!" Joyce stops, looking at us for a moment then smirking.
Will was on top of you while you just lay on the ground, embarrassed to say the least.
"Sorry to interrupt your moment..." She giggles and closes the door.
We run to the kitchen trying to explain that it's not what it looks like.
What a chaotic day.
