Yoshie's POV:

A cloudy night is but the promise of much-needed rain, and in this, we are blessed. But, being outside with a bunch of middle schoolers that act like toddlers isn't much of a blessing, having strangers glance at us while I try my best to find a way to escape from this burning hell,

But every time I would find the chance, they would pull me back excitedly like I was their long time friend, and the fact that we just met today makes it even weirder, well, I guess the plan of trying to avoid Tokyo gangs was just thrown out the window, but the most important question here, is why did they suddenly consider me to be part of their 'friend group'...

Suddenly, the bright and colorful lights of the busy amusement park blinded my eyes, stepping slowly inside, a small grimace was plastered on my face as multiple little kids run around while screaming their lungs out, they're just kids they're just kids they're just kids-

I repeat to myself while trying not to smack the daylight out of them, at this hour, I would be laying on my bed, doing absolutely nothing, but here I am, socializing and going outside like the human being that I am...

Considering the lack of sleep that I've been getting and how much time and effort I've been spending every day to go to school and serve customers at the cafe, I wasn't the most energetic person alive, especially during night time when all I've wanted to do was to lock myself up in my room and spend hours doing nothing and everything.

But my plans have been ruined after some boys raided my apartment and forced me to be their new friend, dragging my feet as slow as a turtle, looking around to see everyone having fun except for me, with their friends or family members, smiling widely and grinning,

stop overthinking, you're going to ruin the mood again, well it's not like it wasn't ruined already...

"Hey" A voice next to me startled me, I look to my side to meet those purple eyes filled with curiosity, and for the second time, I got to take a look at his features properly, his droopy lavender eyes and short silver-lilac hair were the first things I would notice. Before I could stare too much and come off as a creep, I stand up straight and greet him back,

"Hello," I said with a soft and low voice, the amusement park was already so noisy, but I felt like there was an awkward atmosphere that slowly suffocated me, "What's up?" fixing my posture while walking, I try to act as normal as I could and flashed him a small smile under my mask,

"I'm doing well, what about you?" he put his hands deep in his pockets, looking ahead of him while engaging in a conversation with me, "I'm doing fine" after that sentence, I earned a little glance from him, "Did you get home safely after that night?"

Why does it sound like we're really close friends- Shaking away the unnecessary thoughts, I nod and mumble a "yes" while walking beside him, the boys ahead of us turned to face us, waving their hands while pointing at the big roller coaster that gave me chills just by looking at,

Oh god... I didn't even bring a hair tie, I lost the one that was wrapped on my wrist-

" WOOHOO! THAT WAS SO FUN! RIGHT YOSHIE?" The blonde boy screamed next to me, blowing up my eardrums while getting off the ride, my hair covering my whole face, and I looked like I just got out of a 2-year coma, struggling to fix my hair as it was all tangled, I feel fingers softly brushing my hair out of my face, fixing my bangs while taking a quick look at my face, "Better?"

Mitsuya asked, stroking my head softly while his lips curved up in a smile, I felt my cheeks slightly burn up at his touch and I nod, "Yes, thank you"

When I said these boys would be the death of me, I didn't expect it to turn out this way...
