📍Car parking lot of booster event

Jaaliyah ran to her car with Olivia close behind her

"Jesus I know she's runs track but she can also run in heels?" Olivia mumbled still, barely, following the girl.

Jaaliyah unlocked her car doors and quickly got in. She had thought about locking the doors so Olivia could get in but she knew it wouldn't be fair to her when she had nothing to do with the situation.

Olivia quickly got in on the passenger side to find Jaaliyah in full blown tears,  banging on the steering wheel.

"How could I be so stupid? So damn vulnerable!" Jaaliyah mumbled. Jaaliyah hated letting her guard down because every time she did, she ended up hurt.

Hearing what Jaaliyah was saying to herself broke Olivia's heart. Olivia had believed that Jaaliyah was one of the most beautiful women in the world & hearing the girl talk down on herself because of someone else's mistake made her feel awful.

Jaaliyah was banging on the wheel so hard that her tiny hands started to turn red. Olivia swiftly pulled her into a hug as she cried not wanting her to injure herself

"You're not stupid. You're far off from stupid. You were just following my instructions, not to bottle up your feelings and vent. Unfortunately Jordan was the only one there at the time." Olivia sighed massaging behind Jaaliyahs ear

"Yeah, can we listening to music? It helps me cope" Jaaliyah asked. Truthfully, Jaaliyah didn't care what Olivia's answer would be. It was her car so if Liv didn't want to, she would just have to get the fuck out

"Yeah sure and you better not play anything dumb" Olivia said and they laughed

After the song was over, Olivia stared at the girl and Jaaliyah  just stared back

"What...?" Jaaliyah asked confused finally breaking the silence because she wanted to know why she was being stared at

"SINCE WHEN COULD YOU SING?" She said in amazement

"Oh...since I was very little. Nobody knows except the people who go to church in Crenshaw and now you. " Jaaliyah smiled

"My ears have definitely been blessed. Have you ever wanted to get into the industry?" Olivia asked

"Eh sometimes I thought about it but I have majorette and track plus drill team. I swore to everyone if anything was to happen I would use singing as my back up plan. I can also rap . It doesn't seem hard to me" Jaaliyah shrugged

Olivia was finna say something when Spencer knocked on the window. Olivia let her window down so he could speak.

"Hey I just came to check on y'all." Spencer said

"Oh we're fine..." Jaaliyah said fidgeting with my fingers

"Anyways, I was wondering if you could drop me off in Crenshaw" Spencer asked
