Author's POV

The morning came and the sun shined through the window and right onto Beca's face. She groaned and cover her face with her blanket. "Beca! Get up!", Emily's voice echoed from downstairs. "You're opening the store today!", she yelled again. "I'm up!", Beca shouted as she sat up from her bed.

She stepped into the cold bathroom and started brushing her teeth. A year. It's been a year. Beca let the hot water run on her skin while she run her fingers through her hair.

*Flashback a year ago*

"No, no, I can't! I need to go after her!", Beca stood up after she read the letter. "Beca, honey, Chloe made it clear that she doesn't want you to. Maybe we should respect her decision", John said. "I can't just let her go, we had it all planned out- we-", Beca couldn't even say anything and everyone watched as she just completely broke down. Emily and Stacie got up and place their arms around the tiny girl, comforting her. "Maybe it's for the best", Emily said.

*End of flashback*

"Good morning!", Aubrey said from the kitchen. "Morning, Bree", Beca walked to the coffee machine and leaned against the counter. The trio, Beca, Stacie and Emily, bought a house together after probably 5 months since Chloe left. Aubrey and Stacie are getting serious so she just decided to move in. There's also an extra room which Fat Amy invited herself to. "I'll see you guys tonight, I have a big thing to deal with", Emily walked down the stairs in a formal business attire.

"Woah, Miss FancyPants! Where are you off to?", Stacie asked. "I have a meeting with some very important people about opening our stores in a few other locations. It'd be a great opportunity. So don't burn the store down while I'm gone", she replied before taking off. "How'd you sleep? You came home quite late last night, think all of us were sleeping", Stacie turned to Beca. "Yeah, I was at the bar", Beca replied coldly and sip her coffee.

"Hey, uhm- do you mind if I ask you a question?", a customer approached Beca at the counter. She was- cute, Beca thought. The girl was probably 5'1, had about shoulder-length red hair, a denim jacket on and-. "Excuse me?", she snapped Beca out of her thought. "Yes! Yes- sorry. What's up?", Beca smiled awkwardly. "Okay so, I'm trying to get a gift for my dad's birthday but I'm not quite sure. So I was hoping that you can help me figure it out?", she asked. "Yeah sure thing! That's why I'm here!", Beca smiled.

"Okay, I know he like vinyls and stuff because he has the player, it's just in the term of what album", the girl said. "How old is he?", Beca asked. "He's turning 50", she replied. "Hmm, what songs does he listen to?", Beca asked again. "I know he like The Beatles, and like Elton John and stuff", she said. "Okay, so I suggest you get him this limited Elton John Vinyl, its a remastered series and it comes with a free mug!", Beca run her finger through the records and took out the one she mentioned. "But, we're having a sale right now, so if you get one more, it's 10% off", the brunette added. "Oh that's nice, I'll just get one for me then. Do you have any Hollie Col? Or maybe Hozier?", she asked. That's definitely fruity. "Hollie Col sold out a few days ago but you're in luck with the Hozier one", Beca smiled.

"Cash or card?", Beca asked. "Card", she replied. "You wanna sign up for our membership program? You can get tons of discount", Beca said. "No, it's fine", the girl smiled. "Maybe you should give me your number so I can tell you when the Hollie Col one's in stock?", Beca shot her shot, the girl chuckled. She grabbed Beca's hand and wrote her number on the palm of Beca's hand along with her name. "Cammie. That's a pretty name", Beca said. "Maybe you should give me a call tonight to update me on that record", Cammie winked.  "I sure will", the brunette smirked and watched as the girl walk out the door.

"I just don't know how you do it", Luke said. "Every girl that walks in the store, you managed to fuck like 3/4 of them. Teach me your way", he added after he hopped onto the counter. "Just don't be a douche", Beca said. "I'm never a douche", he argued. "Okay, next girl that walks in. I wanna see you in action", Beca smiled. And so they waited. They waited for about 2 hours, for someone age-appropriate cause so far it's just, 13 year olds finding a place to take aesthetic pictures in without actually buying anything. Until....

A tall girl walks in. About 5'4, 5'5, plaid skirt with fishnets on, black shiny boots and a light blue vest on top of a white shirt. Her brown hair falls perfectly down, not too long yet not too short. Her eyes sparkles and it lit up the room when she walked in. "There", Beca looked at her. "Game is on", Luke approached the girl and Beca took her time to analyse the mysterious woman.

"Hey, how can I help you?", Luke smiled. "I'm just looking around, I just moved about two blocks away from here and I heard you guys have a bunch of posters?", she asked. "Why have posters when you can just pin me against the wall instead?", Luke asked with a weird smirk on, creeping the girl out. Beca ran to them and placed her arm around Luke, "I apologise, my friend here can't communicate with beautiful women such as yourself", she smiled and turned to Luke. "Go take a break buddy", she patted him at the back and Luke walked away in defeat.
