Taken from the Comic Con Disney TVA Panel from 2021. I finished this chapter back in September, but I waited until I was caught up with Boiling Isles. Please read both stories if you don't want to be spoiled. Hope you enjoy this possibly long awaited chapter. -Mal.

Peter's POV (The Boiling Isles)

Luz has been studying the diary for days now on how to find a way to get us back home. We were able to convince Eda to help us out. "Thanks again for agreeing to help us, Eda." I thanked. "Ah, don't mention it, kiddos, but, if you wanted me to help, you should've mentioned something two apple bloods ago." Eda replied. "Your very presence is healthy enough." Luz commented. "Cute, but creepy, like Hooty when he was a kitten." Eda said. "Wait, Hooty was..." Luz started. "Anyway, what do we got here?" Eda asked. "A spell that has a very slim chance of working, but if it does, it might get us back to the human realm." I explained. "Well, hot titan toes!" Eda exclaimed. "What are we waiting for, pull the trigger!" "We have to be very careful, this spell is unstable and..." Luz explains as Eda already activated the spell. "Eda!" "Again, probably should've mentioned something two apple bloods ago." Eda repeated. "Aw shoot!" Luz and I shouted as a rift between time and space appeared in front of us.

Rowena's POV (Wartwood, Amphibia)

Hop Pop asked us to help him find some ingredients for dinner tonight in the woods. "Wait till you kids taste this swamp soufflé, it only tastes slightly worse than it smells." Hop Pop explains as we all groaned. "I still think we should've ordered takeout from Stumpy's." Anne said. "They do grub satay now!" Sprig exclaimed. "I heard good things about that from Duckweed's latest review." I commented. "So, what else do we need for this suffering?" Polly asked. "Uh, soufflé." Hop Pop corrected. "I said what I said." Polly said. "Well, according to the recipe, we need something called pineapple fungus?" Sprig questions. Polly pulls out a weird looking mushroom from the ground. "Is this it?" Polly asked. The ground began shaking, and the mushroom turned out to be the nose of a badger? "Dang it, Polly!" We complained. "In retrospect, I should've asked, and then pulled." Polly replied. The badger roared loudly as we ran away screaming.

Peter's POV

We were pulled into the portal to a dimension with a beautiful forest scenery. "Kiddos, it worked, we're in the human realm!" Eda exclaimed as a bug about the size of King walked by. "M'lady." "What do you think you know about humans?" Luz asked. "Well, might as well head to the nearest town and see if they have any S&P approved bug equivalent to liquor." Eda said. "Even in a different dimension, you still want to find someway to get drunk?" I asked as I heard some screaming from a distance. "Hold on, do you guys hear that?"

Rowena's POV

As we kept running, we accidentally bumped into some other outsiders, and surprisingly, two of them were human. "Whoa, who are you people?" Hop Pop asked. "I don't believe it!" Sprig exclaimed. "Another Anne and Rowena! Well, this one looks a bit different." "And they're both better dressed, too." Polly added. "Whoa, giant frog people, either that, or this is the best apple blood I've ever had." The older woman said. "Kids, are you seeing this, too?" "Holy frog abuse." I gasped. "More humans?" Anne asked. "I don't believe this!" "Me neither, I'm Luz Noceda, and I am very impressed that you're walking around in one shoe." The human girl introduced. "Yeah, it took some getting used to." Anne explains. "I'm Anne, by the way, Anne Boonchuy." "Rowena Warbler." I introduced. "Peter Clawthorne-Yenkins." The human boy replied. "Why do I get the feeling that we all have a lot in common?" Luz asked. "I don't know, but I can already tell we're gonna be besties." Anne replied. I turned to Peter. "Hey, Peter was it?" I asked. "Do you ever feel like you don't actually exist?" "Oh yeah, all the time." He replied. "Uh, sorry to interrupt, but we've got company." The older woman warned as the beetle badger returned. Hop Pop attached himself to the woman's leg. "SAVE US, FOXY LADY!" Hop Pop screamed. "Get off of me!" She snapped. Luz pulled out some paper from her pocket. "Leave this one to us, guys." Luz said. "What are you supposed to do with a piece of paper?!" I asked. Luz slammed her paper into the ground as vines began to grow, like magic. At the same time, Peter drew a circle in midair as his ears became pointed and more vines surrounded the badger. "Whoa!" We gasped. "Cool!" "Anne, Rowena, Polly, let's help too." Sprig said. "Good thinking, bud." Anne compliments. I pulled out my driver as Anne grabbed her tennis racket and Sprig prepared his slingshot. "Take this!" Anne shouted, hitting the badger with her racket. "Ever hear of a birdie?!" I asked, hitting the other leg. Sprig loads Polly into his slingshot and fires her at the badger. "Little sister cannon, fire!" Sprig exclaimed. "Here comes the pain!" Polly screamed, hitting the badger in the eye, causing it to run away. "Uh, I was about to help." The woman said sarcastically. "Ditto." Hop Pop cleared his throat. "Wow, you're like a magician or something!" Anne exclaimed. "That's incredible!" "I actually know a magician, completely different from us." Peter explains as his ears returned to normal. "We're witches, well, more like witches in training, but we both come from the human world originally." Luz added. "Witches?" Sprig asked. "I know a certain curse wielding frog girl who would love to meet you guys." "So, what are you doing here, better-dressed Anne and funky-looking Rowena?" Polly asked. "Polly!" I snapped. "Rude much?" "Oh, I love the chaotic energy coming from the tiny one." The woman said, high fiving Polly. "Up top, you absolute beast." "We're actually searching for a way home." Luz explains. "Don't tell us, you're trapped in a medieval fantasy adventure rigamarole, too?" I asked. "Less of a medieval fantasy and more of a kid-friendly hellscape on top of a giant carcass, but, yup." Peter replied. "Oh my god, I have so many questions for you guys." Anne said. "How are you coping? Do you miss your parents? How was the food there?!" "And I've got questions for you guys." Luz explains. "Where did you learn how to fight like that? Do you have a found family too? Or a horrifying authority figure to fight?" "You guys have to come over!" Anne and I squealed. "Hop Pop, can we have a sleepover, like, right now?!" "I don't know, girls, we need to get permission from, what did you say your name was?" Hop Pop asked. "I am Eda the Owl Lady, the most powerful witch on The Boiling Isles." The woman introduced. "Until recently, but you can call me Eda, you weird little frog man." Hop Pop was blushing over Eda's compliment. "Gross! That's my mother." Peter said, annoyed. We all looked at him confused. "It's a long story." "Uh, Luz, Peter, Eda, is your portal supposed to do that?" Sprig asked, noticing their portal starting to flicker. "Oh no, we're out of time!" Luz panicked. "I told you this thing would be unstable, oh sorry, Anne and Rowena, we have to go!" "No, Luz!" I cried. "Don't you dare go!" We grabbed the hands of Luz and Peter as tears began forming in our eyes. "Another life, girls, we'll have that sleepover, in another life!" Peter cried. "Like, some kind of, I don't know, alternate universe?" Anne asked. "I was thinking more like a FanFiction!" I cried. Luz nodded tearfully as Eda grabbed her and Peter and pulled them into the portal. "Sorry, kiddos, but I ain't about to get stuck in a world of frogs." Eda sighed. "Demon realm, here we come." "Fair enough, get out of here, you crazy kids." Anne whimpered. "And Luz, Peter." I said as they turned back to me. "Never give up, you guys can do this, we're all going to get home, I just know it." "You got that right, take care, Rowena, Anne, I love your hair." Luz compliments as the portal closes. "I don't believe it, two other humans stuck far from home in another world, just like us!" Anne exclaimed. "At least Luz was human, Peter told me that Eda was his mother." I explained. "Four kindred souls." Sprig said. "What are the odds?" Polly asked. "Well, looks like the swamp soufflé's a bust, I guess we'll head back and see if Stumpy's is still open." Hop Pop sighed, looking in his pockets. "Hey, have any of you seen my wallet?"

Peter's POV

We stood where the portal once was, back on the Isles. "Well, that was something, what do you say we go find King and figure out dinner?" Eda asked. "Two other humans, and we barely got to talk to them." Luz sighed. "And we didn't even get something to remember them by." "Oh, I wouldn't say that." Eda smiled, pulling out Hop Pop's wallet, at least, I think his name was Hop Pop. "Eda, did you steal that poor frog man's wallet?!" I snapped. "Well, I couldn't help it, it was right there." Eda explains. "Mother!" I shouted. "Wait, we've gotta open the portal and return it!" Luz exclaimed. "Maybe another day, kids." Eda said. "Maybe another day."
