The Christmas spirit was in the air and everyone was feeling it. Wearing her Santa hat, Becca was super excited for this holiday this year. She's doing the work needing for her to recover and she just loves the holidays and what they stand for to her: spending time with the people you care about. Which meant that she was super thrilled to have Finn back in town. The two were double checking everything for their trip to New York for New Years. "Do you know if Rachel's going to be there?" Finn asks.
"She's not," Becca informs him, choosing to ignore how disappointed he looked. "She's on some trip with her parents. So it will be us, our parents, and Kurt all up there. Blaine will be back in Lima by then and Sam's parents are understandably forcing him to visit them whenever possible."
Suddenly Brittany walks up to them handing them each an envelope. "Finn, Becca, here's two passes for Disneyland and a flight to LA. Merry Christmas!"
Taking it, Finn couldn't help getting kind of excited. He's confused, but excited. Becca on the other hand is concerned and takes the envelope out of Finn's hand much to his disappointment. "Britt, we can't accept this."
"Well since the Mayan Apocalypse is happening on December 21st, 2012, I want me and my friends to live our lives to the fullest." Not letting them say anything else, she walks off to find the next Glee Club member to bestow a gift onto.
"But I've always wanted to go to Disneyland" Finn mumbles, looking like a kicked puppy.
"Oh we are still going," Becca assures. "I just wanted an answer cause this is really, really expensive... I hope she won't ask for it back once we are all still alive."
Further down the hall, Brittany had spotted Sam. "Here you go," she passes him a small velvet box much to his confusion. "It's a ring so you and Becca can finally get married before the world ends. I sent her a bunch of ring photos and this was the one she liked the best. During practice I was able to figure out her ring size."
Sam was super confused. "Is this about the Mayan Apocalypse? Becca told me that everything was going to be okay."
"I love her too but she is very naïve and refuses to face the truth of reality for her sanity," Brittany then explains how she wanted the two of them to take on Q'uq'umatz together since they are soulmates. "And you and I both know things haven't been good for her. I've heard her say she wants to get married to you so I know you getting the balls to get down on one knee and making her your wife would make her happy."
Before Sam could say anything else, Brittany walks off towards Sugar to give her gift. Opening the box, he couldn't help but admire it. The ring was exactly her style with a pale sapphire and a gold band. He's thought about this many, many times and how he would propose to her. But just didn't know if this was the right time. She's in recovery and he doesn't think asking her to marry him was the best idea... But then his eye were caught on her smiling and laughing with Finn and he knew what he was going to do.
