"Honestly kid I don't think you have much of a choice. You're under 18 and need a legal guardian." I say in a 'matter of fact' voice.
Honestly by this point that kid's face was full of anger.
"So, what are you going to do now Mr. Hero?" he said mockingly.
What am I going to do now?
If I'm being honest this kid wouldn't last in the system but there is no way I'm leaving a 14 year old kid on the streets. Whatever I'll just take him home with me for now.
I sighed.
"I guess I'll take you home with me kid." I said as I tugged my scarf off him.
"And don't run. Nothing bad is going to happen so just go with it." I continued.
"Whatever" he said in an 'I give up' type of tone.
He walked up beside me.
"Alright let's go" I said as we started walking in the direction of my house.
