'Yeah, we didn't have those in years,' says Nivi, pointing out the obvious. She recalls, before she got married and went to Norway, the Jamwals were known to go for a family vacation every year.

'We can always go on one now,' Dev speaks up as he looks at his father. Maan and Dev exchange the knowing look. 'Phuket?'

Dev nods,' Anyways, I was planning to go there. I had to check a few things at the hotel and opening for that new resort. I would love to have you take a look at it.'

'But, when?' asks Savitri.

'I can get us the flight tickets for today. Late evening. We'll land in the morning.' says Dev.

'I have a flight today in the evening for Norway,' speaks up Nivi complaining.

'Cancel it. I'll book you and Veer another flight from there,' Dev with an instant solution.

'Aur mera Pati?' asks Nivi, not feeling like leaving her husband and go on a vacation without him.

'Sameer Jiju can join us there directly,' replies Dev. Nivi smiles, getting satisfied.

Dev continues before Anu raises her eager query,' And you may ask Amit too. But, I am booking you two separate rooms.'

'Fine,' replies Anu, getting flustered at her brother's comment.

'Can you get off for another week?' Dev asks Mahi.

'A week! It's too long. I can't. Let's keep it for 3-4 days. 4 days max,' jumps in Anu, getting all worried.

'I wasn't asking you, idiot. The trip will be for 3-4 days. I wanted Mahi and me to extend it for a week. It's our anniversary next week. And we haven't been on any holiday since we got married,' says Dev turning his gaze back at Mahi.

'Right! The anniversary!' exclaims Anu.

'Can you spare me another week?' asks Dev, looking at Mahi.

'I don't know. I'll have to see. Might have to make some calls,' says Mahi, thoughtfully.

'Then make them now. I want you for myself this week,' says Dev with a charming smile.

Nivi clears her throat, reminding the lovebirds about the audience. 'We'll have her for the initial four days,' Nivi adds teasingly.

'Partially, then she is all mine,' replies Dev with a wink. Mahi slaps his arm, becoming flustered at his shamelessness.

Mahi leaves to make some calls as Dev makes one to his secretary to book the tickets for his family members. He asks his secretary to wait before booking for his and Mahi's.

After some time, when everyone scatters around planning the trip, Dev looks for Mahi to confirm her week off. He finds her in his mother's room. It was her room before she shifted to his room. Now their room. She still had few work-related files in here. Dev enters the room. He sees her rake through one of the cabinets next to the window with a phone on her ear. She speaks in her usual tone as she barks few orders on the call. He sits on the edge of the bed quietly, watching her getting irritated at her staff while she looks for some documents. When she finally finds it, she read out the specific content. She returns to her normal voice as she listens to the person speaking.
