KINGDOM OF ELEFTERIA
DAYTIME
CASTLE-MEET AND GREET HALL
The Guardians were talking about their likes and dislikes as a guard went in and whispered something in Vega's ear. Vega's expression changed, and he became pale, his eyes freezing.
Ash: Vega?
Vega looked at Ash, slowly gulping, and then at Pavel.
Pavel: Are you alright?
Vega composed himself.
Vega: Pavel and I need to be excused.
Ash: What? Now?
Vega whispered something in Ash's ear.
Ash: I see. Alright, you two are excused.
Pavel left with Vega cluelessly, leaving everyone else sitting there, not knowing what was happening.
Vega: Let's hurry.
Pavel: Tell me what's happening with you.
Vega: Lyra and your grandfather have been attacked. They're both in critical condition.
Pavel: What?! Why did you not tell me this sooner!
Vega: I wanted you to keep your head on your shoulders!
Pavel: They're my only family!
Vega kept quiet.
Pavel: You always act like this, you know.
Vega: I want what's best for you.
Pavel: You have a funny way of showing it, Vega!
Pavel started running, as did Vega.
Upon exiting the castle, elder Pisces ran into them.
Pavel: Teleport us to the Virgo tribe. We're in a hurry.
Pisces looked at Vega.
Vega: I'm siding with him on this one.
Pisces teleported them and then left. Vega and Pavel ran into the chambers where Garnik and Lyra were both unconscious.
Pavel: Heal them.
Vega: And if it doesn't work, you'll blame me.
Pavel: At least I'll know you tried.
Vega looked at Pavel as he started to heal Garnik. His wound healed, and he jumped up.
