Chris picked me up from my home and we rode together to my childhood home. He wasn't as nervous as I thought he would be. Especially because I told him all things things and warnings about my family but that didn't phase him at all.

We arrive at my home and walk over to the front door together. My wonderful father opens the door and stares at me, then at Chris, then back at me. There was an awkward silence amongst us.

Kyro: Finally you're here! I've missed you princessa!!! And My princess's boyfriend, nice to meet you, come inside,

He grabbed my hand and jerked me away from Chris. We walk ahead with Chris following close behind. My dad looks back at chris for one moment and says:

Kyro: Ah! I see you've brought flowers for the wife! She loves these. What are they called princessa?

Chris: Gardenias,

Kyro: Uhhh, Are you my princessa? No, So zip it. Also I'm already insulted by your face. Pretty boys are always the heartbreakers.. watch out for him princessa

I let out a small chuckle and then we sat there in slightly awkward silence, and Chris' face started to get red.

Kyro: I'm just kiddding! Emri tell him to lossen up!

Mom: Kyro! Please stop making things weird over here, my goodness. Hello Chris, it's nice to meet you! And thank you for these flowers, I love them!! Are y'all hungry??

:Yes mama, starving

Mom: Excellent! Enzo is picking up Luka from the airport right now, so they'll be here soon. And Ryan is here Dylan with her baby... somewhere idk where she went. My house is so chaotic today, I can't keep up with anyone!!

She said as she lead us into the kitchen with my father following close behind.

Kyro: So Chris, I hear you like the patriots,

Chris: Oh yeah, I'm a big patriots guy

Kyro: Oh! You should've led with that! Let me show you something in the living room-

They walk out the kitchen together and I give Chris a thumbs up as he leaves.

Mom: Sooo,

: What mom,

Mom: He seems nice,

: He is nice mama. But i'm ready to eat, tell everyone to come in here to eat pleaseeee,

Mom: Be patient Emri and is it serious?

: well yeah pretty much. I wouldn't bring him here if it wasn't.

Mom: you have only been dating him for like 3 months and you already think it's serious?

: Yes, I said that

Mom: okay... you love him?

: uhh yeah I do mama,

Mom: and he loves you?

:oh, very much. Probably more than I do.

Mom: aww princessa that is so good

: why do you ask?

Mom: i just want to make sure that you aren't rushing anything, I know you try to hide how hurt you were by rome-

Mom: Yeah him
(she chuckled)

Mom: But seriously baby, it was hard to see you like that and the whole situation with luci... Just promise me you'll take this next relationship slow. He is older than you and I just don't want him to rush you into a marriage or moving in-
