Chapter 16

Your POV

I was surprised about Saiko's thinking about this plan, it seemed like he knew what he was doing but Saiki just seemed panicked by his questions

But then everyone got into an argument about who's staying on the island and who's going on the raft, I was the odd one out so I just said I'd stay on the island

So it was agreed,

Nendo, Mera, Saiko and Aren are  group Raft

Saiki, Kaido, Teruhashi, Yumehara and me were group Island

And we continued working on the raft till night
Until it was finished, everyone happy about. Kaido was proud of everyone which led to a speech, which gave him hope about us getting rescued.

Afterwards we ate our possible last night meal together, For some reason, this night was more uncomfortable then the last one, the last night was soft and warm. Why was there a difference?

And then in the morning, everyone got ready for the raft group to head off into the ocean. Getting food, water and compass, since when did we have it?

But then rescue came before we chould go and say goodbye.
I'll finally get to see my dad again, he must've been worried sick, or even worse.

Saiki went into the Island deeper than getting on the boat, it was kinda weird but I was more concerned about my father's health.

After we got back to school we were the talk of the whole school, people kept asking questions.

And then the school newspaper had our faces and names and our story on the island
It was traumatic experience, and yet they just had it as a scoop.

I just kept low and hoped that it would just all go away. But now since Im back home, now I'll definitely have more chances for private conversation with Saiki, about his magic or powers whatever he has.

I feel like Saiki was at war with the Press club because yeah day there were more stories with Saiki in it about him or the island

The next morning I heard about another transfer student, this time it was a girl, and she's moving to our class

"Everyone take your-" the teacher wasn't even done with her sentence and the boys were all ready to meet the new transfer student

"Whatever, I'll introduce the new transfer student" the teacher said, and then she walked in

"Sup' " she said, and then all the boys just lost all their hope on her. How rude, but they still were happy about her huge breasts.

"Im Mikoto Aiura, You can just call me Miko! I'm into fortune telling and fashion nails." She said, it definitely caught Yumehara's attention about fortune telling, I didn't know she was into that. Because she, herself was a fortune teller

She almost looked like she had powers, like Toritska, but I pay no attention to him.
She even found Mera's missing dad.

But I wasn't into fortune telling so I passed on listening.

Until I heared about Mikoto's soulmate.
That he has blonde hair, and crazy something something, and his initialas were KS. There was no doubt that it was Saiki, right?
Wrong,
I at least don't think Saiki's dyed his Hair pink. So that means, There's still a chance for me and Saiki. But why would I care. Saiki's mostly careless and average but his smile, is like the night sky at the island.

Maybe I should ask about my soulmate.

The next day at school, Saiki's was absent, he's usually never absent, but the whole day was weird with Auras and mullet auras. Just all so confusing, so after school I decided to see why Saiki Didn't show up

As I went to his house, I knocked on the door and waited for an answer, Kurumi Opened the door and I quickly rushed to Saiki's room

"SAIKI, why weren't you at school today!" I shouted at him

"I'm sick" he said

"Thats the oldest lie!" I yelled

After calming down, he finally explained

"Ah, so you think the Aiura girl is a psychic? Pfft, that's not true, psychics aren't real,  everyone should know that. Saiki I never knew you had humor in you" I laughed at his excuses

But he didn't seem to even smiling at his own joke, was it even a joke?

"You're- you're serious?" I asked Saiki, he nodded, I chouldnt believe it

"If Mikoto is a psychic, that means-" Saiki interrupted me, why is everyone interrupting me?

"Yes, all her Fortune telling was real"
He said, this guy was really getting on my nerves by interrupting me constantly

"Saiki, I meant that you-" he just placed his hand on my mouth, not allowing me to finish my sentence

"I know what you're thinking, but that's not it" he said looking down, was she embarrassed? Or was is something else? Was it something he didn't want me to find out?

"It's not what you're thinking, I'm not like her. I'm just a normal human like you" he said, but I didn't want to push it with him so I gave up on asking, I'll ask him another day

Afterwards I just went home but I still kept questioning, better to observe a bit more before jumping to conclusions again

As I got back home I looked around the house for my dad, but I chouldnt find him anywhere, there weren't any notes and I chouldnt get a call back from him

I got worried, and started running to possible places he'd be, he wasn't at the pharmacy, or the store or at the hospital. I ran back home and called the police

After a few minutes, two policemen came to the door to talk about what happened.

I explained that after I came back from school my dad was gone. There were no traces of him. I looked any possible place he chould've gone to.
I was asked to go to the police station to get a a full confirmation.

As I locked the door and went near the Police car. I saw Saiki outside looking at me, I bet he thinks I'm getting arrested.

This is just horrible.
