I chouldnt believe that he has been reading my mind all this time!? This is so bizarre!
Why would he keep this a secret?
And is he reading my mind even now!? But I should call down, Saiki trusted me with this secret, so I should just let him continue talking
"I have pyrokinesis, telekinesis, levitation, astral projection ect. But most importantly I can technically speaking, rewind time." Saiki said, woah so many I never knew Saiki had so many,
I only assumed translating languages in human minds and teleporting objects, not all of this.
"Does that mean this has happened before?" I asked Saiki, he just shook his head, so this is the first time. Alright well this then just means that I haven't had left Japan just yet without telling Saiki i- wait I frogot he's reading my mind right now!
"Saiki, why didn't you tell me this?" I asked him, he just stood there trying to think of an answer but when he wanted to say something, His mom told him to come downstairs
"I'll be right back" he said, I never really noticed that he kept speaking with telepathy. As he walked out of the room, I sat down on his bed and just let my mind process what just happened
Saiki is a psychic? It was quite shocking but also not THAT shocking. But it really didn't change my thoughts about him. He's still the same human being I met
But this morning did feel different, like it wasn't Saiki's first time seeing me there. Like he knew what was going to happen. Maybe it was one of his powers. Maybe it was..
"Y/n! Come down here please!" Kurumi shouted, I suppose I didn't notice the time, I guess my dad got worried and called Kurumi.
I went downstairs and saw Saiki and Kurumi. She seemed to look a bit relieved and calm.
"Kuu told me that you know about his powers now, I'm really sorry we had to keep it a secret from you y/n. But as long your Kuu's friend it's okay" she apologized, I guess keeping secrets is hard for her
"It's alright I understand" I said, Kurumi is really a nice mom. Wish I had a mom like that.
Oh no, Saiki probably already heard my thoughts, how chould I forget that already.
"Anyways, y/n, it's time for you to go home, or whould you like to stay here overnight?" Kurumi suggested, but Saiki just looked shocked, you really chould never know what he's thinking.
"I'll bring the extra futon we have. You can sleep on that." She said, I guess it's not that bad, maybe I can stay.
"I'll have to talk to my dad about that, I'll be back!" I said, going out of the house and walking to my house but I bumped into Teruhashi
"Oh sorry, hi Teruhashi" I apologized and greeted her.
"Oh y/n, waht were you doing at Saiki's place?" She asked me, I thought she'd be angry but she's really not
"Oh, I was just over there, Saiki's parents invited me to stay overnight. So I'm going back to my dad's to ask him if he's okay being alone for the night" I said, I felt negative energy from Teruhashi but she seemed to call and happy
"Oh, I was just going over there to have cooking lessons with Mrs. Saiki" She said
"Oh well maybe we can cook together with Kurumi." I said, now my gut is telling me to run before something bad happens to me. Why is this only with Teruhashi? Maybe she just doesn't like me.
"Oh sure, that's sounds great! I'll be on my way now then, see you later y/n!" Teruhashi said with a smile, it really does feel like she doesn't like me, was it because I'm closer with Saiki? Maybe she saw us walking together back from school.
As I went to my house I saw dad in the kitchen. He seemed cheerful which he usually isn't due to his sickness.
"Oh welcome back y/n, Kurumi already called me, she was so excited to tell me about sleeping over. I already allowed you, go pack your things.
"Oh alright, I'll be in my room" I said, I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay one night at the Saiki's. But what about Teruhashi?
"She's annoying" I heard Saiki's voice but he was nowhere near, was he using telepathy?
"Yes I was, I'd rather have to spend the night with you than an hour with Teruhashi" he said telepathically, it was a weird feeling to hear someone's voice in my mind. But what he said, sounded kinda nice.
As I packed all my stuff, my sleepwear, school's outfit ect. I took my bag and left the house to go over to Saiki's
As I walked inside, I saw Teruhashi and Kurumi talking and Saiki just standing there with an annoyed face.
"Oh y/n! Just in time, Teruhashi was asking me for a cooking lesson, do you wanna help Teruhashi? I know you're good because you cook for your dad a lot, right?" Kurumi said, I swear Teruhashi seemed to be mad but kept calm and happy. Why was that?
"Because she hates you, she has a crush on me, so she's jealous of you having a night with me while she can't even get attention from me." Saiki told me telepathically, I don't think anyone else heard him, just me
"Oh well sure, I can teach you something Teruhashi" I said to spite her, Saiki seemed to be amused by it. I chouldnt help but smile a bit.
When he saw me, his cheeks seemed a bit pink, Hopefully Teruhashi didn't notice him.
"She did, she's now thinking we're dating" he told me telepathically once again.
I wiped the smile off my face and went in the kitchen with Kurumi and Teruhashi.
This night is going to be interesting.
