"So what really brought you here?" Laurel asks, putting down a glass of water on the table and sitting down on the other side of the table. I'm in her office, it's midnight.

"Can't a girl visit her friends?" i say, taking a sip of the water.

"You don't have friends"

"I have you and... Nat and... fine i don't have friends" i sigh in defeat.

"Don't get me wrong, i love spending time with you even if that makes my wife jealous" she starts, leaning forward. "But it's midnight and im pretty sure you we're on a date"

"Fake" i say, and she understands it was for a mission. I didn't hide anything for her when we we're together. "Does she really get jealous? Of little old me?"

"Yeah she does" she says with a laugh. "Now, can you tell me why you're in my office in the middle of the night and not in bed or on the dance floor"

"I just needed someone to talk to, someone who understands me a little more"

"Why me? Isn't Nat your best friend" i nod. "I remember i used to be jealous of how close you were, why aren't you anymore"

"I just don't know if i can take everything anymore"

"Take what? You live the dream life"

"Just because i carry it so well doesn't mean it's not heavy" i say, burying my head in my hands. "She got to see my bad side, the side i barely showed you"

"And now what?"

"I bet she'll leave my side because of it"

"Never hide your bad side to make someone stay, show them your bad side and see who stays" Loud music streams in as the door opens.

"Sorry to interrupt, there's someone looking for her" the woman who entered says and i recognize the voice. Laurel's wife, the one that she got married to just two months ago.

"Hello to you too Amelia" i say, puring the last of the water in me.

"Hi y/n" she says and then turns back to Laurel. "Should i bring them up?"

"Please do" Laurel answers and Amelia closes the door behind her. "I bet it's Natasha"

"I bet it's my brother"

"Wanna take that bet?"

"Sure do" i answer and shake her hand with a laugh. But to both of our surprise the one who entered is not Natasha or Tony, it was another redhead with enchanting blue eyes.

"I guess that means we both lost the bet" Laurel say with a laugh making her way to great Wanda. "Im Laurel"

"Wanda" she says, shaking hands.

"I'll be down if you need me" and with that Laurels gone, closed the door behind her and it's just us two left.

"You know you had the whole tower at panik mode" She says with a smile, sitting down next to me on the sofa.

"I seem to have that effect on them when i.." i don't finish, thinking about what Laurel said about hiding my bad side to make someone stay. "Sorry"

"You have nothing to be sorry about. You had your reasons" i look in question at her. "Nat told me"

"Told you what exactly?" fear creeps it's way up my spine.

"That you were afraid that it would change the way i feel about you if i saw that side of you"

"And what exactly is it that you feel for me?" instead of answering she puts her hand on my cheek, forcing my eyes to meet hers. She presses her lips onto mine more as a question. Which i answer by pressing my lips harder to her soft lips. Hands fly up in her hair and her cup my face. Pulling each other closer and closer, more passionate. The butterflies in my stomach are flying wild at her touch. I don't want to let go, but we both do to get a breath.

"Oh, that kind of feeling" i mutter and she laughs. Putting her lips back onto mine. I know it'll sound cliche but in this moment everything seems perfect, it's like magic, like a fairytale where i used to be the villain but now i'm the princess.

"About time" my brother's voice is heard with the loud music streaming in the door. We let go of the kiss and meet Tonys gaze. "Now Clint owes me twenty bucks"

"Wait you bet on us?" Wanda asks, making me laugh.

"Yeah i thought Y/N would make the first move and he on Wanda"

"Well technically y/n did make the first move on the mission" Wanda says and a bigger smile appears on him.

"But that was for the mission, you didn't know it was real" i say, feeling a chill down my spine where Wanda is now resting her hand.

"I'll take it" he says but just as he's about to leave he turns around and say. "I'm still not happy with you leaving like that in the middle of the night"

"Yeah how did you know where i was?" i ask Wanda when he's left. She picks up my left hand and i notice the ring is still there. With a swift movement i hold her hand and are placing the ring on her again. "See this ring as a promise"

"What kind of promise" she asks, still very close to your face.

"That i'll never leave you"

"That does mean you'll have to be less reckless, i'll take that"

"No," i say with a laugh. "It means i will always be at your side, no matter what" she catches my lips in her again. Feeling the taste of her lips once again. That feeling i'm feeling, that is making me realize i don't want to lose that.
