Requested: Nope, I've just had the idea in my head for while and decided to write it
Prompt: a little sidetracked on a case and some ammunition for Booth to tease Brennan.
Dr. Temperance Brennan x Dr. Y/n Bennett
Word count: 844

A/n don't forget to check out my other stories. If I wrote a Tempe x reader, would you read it?

Dr. Temperance Brennan strides purposefully down the sterile hospital corridor, her mind a whirlwind of forensic puzzles and unsolved mysteries. Booth is right next to her, his rugged good looks and charismatic charm in stark contrast to her clinical demeanour.

They're were there to question a potential witness, but it quickly had apparent that the person in question has no intention of cooperating with Brennan. As Booth grills the uncooperative witness, Brennans sharp blue eyes dart around the hallway, seeing an escape from the tense atmosphere. She hated to be locked out of investigations.

That's when she spots her, the person who can always soothe her restless mind, even in the most trying circumstances. Y/n Bennett, one of the most skilled surgeons at the hospital, is standing only a few feet away, her eyes focused on a patients chart. Y/n's presence is like a beacon of calm in the chaos of Brennans world. And she had tried to forget about who worked here in a try to focus on the case at hand.

Brennan approaches Y/n, her voice low but still clear. "Dr. Bennett." She says with a hint of longing, the secret of their six months relationship between them. No one knows, not even Angela.

She looks up from her chart, her lips curving into a sky smile. "Well, if it isn't my favourite anthropologist. What brings you here today, Dr. Brennan?" The question comes after a quick glance over her to see if she's hurt. Which she is not.

"A case, Booth is here talking to Dr. Warwick." And it's not only Brennan who sighs at that. He's been a subject of annoying asses who should quit. "But then I saw you and thought, hey, I could say hi."

Y/n's smile widens, and she glances towards the door of a nearby on-call room. "Well, you're in luck. I just happen to have a break now, I was going to read up on patient, maybe buy some food in the cafeteria." But neither of them are thinking about that.

Without another word, Brennan takes Y/n's hand, and they slip into the on-call room, the door closing behind them with a soft click. Inside, the fluorescent lights cast a clinical glow over the room, but either woman seems to notices. Their lips meet in a heated kiss, hungry and desperate, as if they've been starved for each others touch. Brennan takes control and pushes Y/n against the wall, she smiles.

And as their lips meet again, a spark ignites between them. Their hands begin to roam each others bodies, exploring every inch of skin that they could reach standing up. The kiss is passionate and deeply their tongues entwining in with each others. Their hearts racing as their bodies are pressed against each other.

As they break apart for only a moment, they look into each others eyes and can see so much. Their eyes are locked, and they both know they don't want the kiss to ever end. But they're both working right now.

They continue to kiss, their hands moving over each others bodies with such intensity that it's like they're trying to devour each other. Y/n's hands go up to their favourite place and grip some of Brennans hair to pull, causing her to release a moan into the kiss.

They finally pull apart to catch their breath, and Brennan traces her fingers along Y/n's skin. "I can't get enough of you," she admits, her voice husky. And it was something that was driving her out of her mind.

Y/n chuckles softly. "I know the feeling, Temperance."

Reluctantly, they begin to fix their clothing, their stolen moment coming to an end. Brennan leans in for one more lingering kiss before he whispering. "Dinner tonight?"

Y/n nods, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Absolutely. My place."

As Brennan rejoins the waiting Booth, he raises an eyebrow, eyeing her disheveled appearance. "Everything okay in there, Bones?"

She smooths down her hair, feigning nonchalance. "Just had to fix my hair. Now, about our witness..."

Booth smirks knowingly, but before he can say anything, Y/n emerges from the same room, a radiant smile on her face. He recognises her and can't help but grin. As she sees him looking, she only smiles and moves on.

"Looks like you had a productive visit" he teases.

Brennan merely shrugs, the corner of her lips quirking upward. "You could say that."

Booth only laughs before they head out. Brennan dares one last glance at Y/n by the nurses station, and she looks at her. She can barely wait until tonight.
