Let's say that Blair accidentaly mentioned Leon that your friend Fiona likes him, ofcourse he'll talk to Fiona and it must be awkward for your friend especially when she interacts with Blair. But it I think they didn't mean to 'prank' you, perhaps they just did that to make it a bit fun and minimize the awkward atmosphere
