Chapter 8

Almost two weeks had past since Ava's little breakdown at the middle of the night. Luckily she hasn't had anymore episodes since that night. She was still very quiet, and very cautious of what she did and what she didn't. She just didn't wanna get in trouble, but she was slowly letting go of that fear. Jesy could see a change in the little girl, it wasn't a big one, but she was still able to notice it. Ava was starting to trust Jesy a little more which made her feel more comfortable around the house. It was going to take time, and the brunette knew that but she could handle it. 

Today was a really... special day you would say. Perrie had called Jesy in the morning and told her she was staying at a friend's house that lived near her. So the brunette thought it was the perfect time for her to meet Ava. Well it's easier said that done, she didn't know how to approach that with Ava.

Although it's true, Ava was feeling more comfortable with her, Jesy knew she wasn't a fan of meeting new people. Of course she had mention Perrie a couple times, just so the girl new who she was but she didn't wanna overwhelm her. At the moment Ava was playing on the couch with Reggie, well she would just laugh while the dog run around the couch. Jesy couldn't help but smile at the sight.   

"Ava, baby, can I talk to you for a second" Jesy said walking towards her. Ava couldn't help but think she was in trouble, but she was sure she didn't do anything different that could cause Jesy to be mad at her "It's okey honey, you are not in trouble" Ava relaxed and smiled "remember Perrie?, we have talked a little bit about her" the brunette said sitting down next to her  

Ava kept quiet for a moment thinking "Jesy's fwiend, 'member" she said remebering Jesy telling her about Perrie. She had only seen her in photos and she heard them talking at night once

"Yeah, my friend" Jesy said smiling "well she would really like to meet you" as soon as she heard her, the little girl started to feel nervous "you don't have to if you don't want to, it's okey" Jesy wanted to make sure Ava knew she had the choice to say no, and it was going to be fine. Ava remained silent for a couple minutes she was going to say no. But Jesy had never done anything that could hurt her in any way, maybe this was important to her

"You"ll be there?" she asked almost in a whisper voice. She knew Jesy was nice, and she told her that Perrie was really nice too but she was a little scared. 

"Of course, I'm gonna be there all the time" Jesy said giving her a reassuring smile "I'm not going anywhere" The three-year-old smiled, she liked that feeling, it started the first night when she was so scared but Jesy stayed calm and took care of her, even letting her sleep in her room. It felt nice, she felt cared for, but mostly, she felt safe "so... it's okey if we invite her over?" the brunette said, Ava smiled and slowly nodded her head

Jesy stood up, and while Ava kept playing with one of the dogs she called Perrie, who answered almost instantly "Hey! Jess How are you? Everything alright?" the girl on the other side of the line said with with noticeable excitement in her voice

"Yeah, everything's good, I was just calling to see if you wanted to come over today" the brunette said "you know, since you're staying a couple days" even though it was a question, she knew her friend's answer "we could catch up a little... and you could meet Ava"   

"Of course, my god, I'm finally meeting the little princess" Perrie couldn't hide her excitement and Jesy couldn't help but smile "Should I bring something for her? Also I'm with Hatchi, is that okey? You know I can't leave him when I ..." 

"Babe, breath, it's okey, I'm sure she won't have a problem with Hatchi" Jesy said laughing a little "and you don't have to bring anything, I'm sure she is gonna love you anyways... just a feeling. I will see you then"

"For sure, I'll be there in a couple hours or so" 

"Great!, see you then" 

Almost two hours had past when Jesy recieved a text from Perrie saying she was 10 minutes away. She was sat on the table writing, suddenly the inspiration came and she couldn't let it slip. Ava was currently under the table, playing with Snowball while both doggies laid next to her.

She would touch Jesy's feet from time to time, just so she knew she wasn't alone. That would make the brunette look under the table and each time she would find a little three-year-old smiling at her. That made Jesy's heart flood with cuteness              

"JESS, MISS YOU SO MUCH" the blond girl said entering the house and hugging her friend. She missed her so bad, they talked a lot but it was not the same. Perrie put Hatchi down, whom immediately run to the backyard followed by Oscar and Reggie. Ava who was still under the table, was looking at Jesy and her friend. She seemed nice. Jesy, that noticed Ava was still hiding, walked towars the table and kneeled in front of it 

"Ava? Perrie's here, would you maybe want to come out and say hi" The little girl, still not too sure, grabbed Jesy's hand and crawled from under there to walk slowly to where Perrie was. The blue-eyed girl looked at the little kid holding on to Jesy's leg, hiding behind her. 

"Hey there, I'm Perrie, It's really nice to meet you" Perrie said kneeling in front of the little three-year-old, speaking with a lower tone this time. Making sure to not scare her

Ava looked up at Jesy who smiled at her and nodded her head "I Ava" 

"Hi Ava, that's a really pretty name" Jesy could see  the redish color starting to creep into Ava's cheeks. The brunette knew it, Perrie had this thing with kids, she knew Ava was going to like her. 

Suddenly Hatchi entered running and placed himself in front of Perrie searching for pets. The little girl looked at the new dog and smiled "You wanna pet him?" Perrie said when she saw Ava's smile "he's really nice, I promise. His name is Hatchi" Ava slowly came out of behind Jesy and sat next to Perrie. They where both petting him when Perrie's phone rang telling her she had a new message. When she looked at it, she saw it was from her and the girls group chat. Jesy had sent a pic of them
