the whole house went silent and eunha continued with a sigh
"that's why i asked you about what you did when you liked dad"

yunhee pressed her lips in a thin line before patting her daughter's shoulder, "our situation was different, eun"

"i don't think so. I'm pretty sure one of you liked someone else and stuff" jungwoo frowned
"yeah but the difference was that your mother was actually dating the other person. renjun and whoever he likes aren't official."
"yet" eunha pouted and her mother gasped and held up her wooden spoon in a threatening manner

"young lady! don't let your hopes down! they might not get together!" she said waving the spoon around

eunha just half-heartedly chuckled at her mother and asked, "how did you guys end up together then?"

"your mother's ex turned out to be a jerk. i never liked him any way" junghyun shrugged, "he always gave me a stank eye when i talked to yunhee and then he hurt yun and then i reached my limit so i taught him a lesson" he shrugged

jungwoo stifled a laugh, "dad, might I need to remind you, you barely get angry"

"oh no no no! your father had so much rage inside of him when we were young. my parents thought he was a typical cold boy" yunhee shook her head and chuckled

"really? then how did you start controlling your anger?" eunha asked, eyes wide with curiosity

junghyun shrugged again, "as i matured, i realized that even though anger is a valid emotion, taking it out on others isn't the right way to express it. instead, i try to find the cause of it and try to look at it in a different way," he then continued after a pause, "i realised that anger is an emotion i only ever felt when i was hurt or disappointment. that small moment of.. the emotion we label as anger was just frustration, i guess"

Saturday went by like a gush of wind and the next thing you know, it's 11 am on a Sunday.

eunha was eating her breakfast and contemplating about what to do that day. jungwoo was going to meet up with a few friends from college so she couldn't hang out with her brother and she definitely did not want to disturb the 1/2 days her parents had off work.

she thought about meeting haein but she recalled that they texted the previous night and haein had to babysit her little sister that day. eunha sighed and whipped out her phone. as much as she didn't want to hang out with renjun because she wanted to get over her crush, she had to. she had no other choices and she was bored to death.

besides, she couldn't just avoid him and push him away at all times.

this is like a really short chapter annsnsjsjdj
yeeeeeeeeet

also i wanna add something to what junghyun said about anger. in psychology, they teach students that anger is a secondary emotion, meaning that the person you made angry, you made them hurt or disappointed first.

and when you start to yell at people and feel angry out of nowhere, that's not anger. thats being frustrated. and frustration is caused by built up stress.

relieving stress and frustration is good. and doings it in healthy ways is even better! don't punch walls or stuff like that and especially don't hurt yourself.
you know what you can do? draw an ugly picture of the person you hate the most then rip the page to pieces.

works for me every time :)
