It was then, on that day that I knew
I knew it was over
I knew it was time to leave
To leave the past behind me
It is now gone
The past has left
And a new beginning has started
A new life
A new path for me to follow
Now I look back to when I started this life
Yes, there have been obstacles
Yes, there have been hard times
But
I have become happy
I have become loved
I have learned hard lessons
I know there shall be more obstacles
I know there shall be more hard times
But I am ready for them
And you should be to
