Bottom of The Lake

It was freezing cold
As I stood there on the frozen lake
The winter sun kissed my pale skin

I was deep in thought
So deep in thought that I didnt hear the ice cracking beneath me

I fell through
Into the cold icy water
I could feel my bones freezing over
The cold water seeping into my lungs

Losing the ability to breath
I could see the light above
It looked so calming and peaceful

And then darkness
I lost all feeling in my body

I sank down to the bottom of the lake
Never to be found

And did anyone look for me?
No.
