Serene's POV

Kakatapos lang ng shift ko. Sa sobrang dami kong works today, late na ako umuwi. I still need to do a lot of paper works.

It's 9pm already. Imbes na dumeretso ako sa bahay ko, dumaan ako rito sa bar to get a few drinks. I just need something to relive my stress from work. Besides, I still had a bad day yesterday when Blair bought all those jewelries that I wanted.

"One glass of martini." I said to the bartender.

Pinatong ko yung pouch ko sa counter table at na-upo sa high chair.

"O-one more bottle of this rum."

Napakunot yung noo ko. That voice sounds familiar. Nilingon ko yung guy na naka-upo sa right side ko. Nakatalikod ito at nakasubsob yung mukha sa counter table.

"Are you sure Mr. Carter? "

Carter?

"Yes just give me one more bottle now."

Hinawakan ko yung balikat nito.

"Liam?" Tawag ko sakanya.

Hinahawakan ko palang yung balikat niya, I already know that it's him. I know every inch of his body. It still feels the same.

Bumangon ito at hinarap ako. He's so waster right now. Bumaba naman ako sa high chair para alalayan ito dahil baka bumagsak.

"S-Serene!"

He looks awful. What the hell happened to him? Amoy alak ito at namumula pa yung pisngi.

"Why are you here? Are you broken too?" Natatawa nitong sabi.

"Here you go Mr. Carter."

Nilapag nung bartender yung bottle sa harapan niya. Aabutin niya na sana ito pero na-out of balance ito. Agad ko namam siyang sinalo at niyakap.

"J-Jaxon and Blair got together.....I think." Liam said with a sad tone.

Mahigpit itong nakayakap sakin ngayon. Kahit nakasubsob yung mukha nito sa leeg ko, nararamdaman ko yung luna niya na tumutulo sa balat ko.

"I always knew it's going to be him."

Hearing Liam's voice like this hurts me too. He's my ex. Kahit papaano may pinagsamahan kami. I know we didn't end in good terms but I always wish him to be happy.

"I was there for her. But she still chose him."

Now you know what it felt? I was there for you too, Liam. I was your girlfriend. But still, you chose Blair while you were still with me.

I couldn't speak for a moment. Everything is coming back at me.

"I did everything.....I did everything for Blair. "

I did everything for you too, Liam. But you never saw that. You were too busy catching feeling for Blair.

"N-Now I know what you felt when I didn't chose you."

Hindi ko inaasahan na sasabihin niya iyon. Kumalas ito ng pagkakayakap sakin. He cupped my face while looking into my eyes. His tears was still running down on his face.
