The Act of Duplicity [General Kirigan]

I am going to use this chapter to give you guys updates on different things, such as when the prequel is going to be published and when the editing starts or if I intend to change anything that is worth mentioning. 

With each update, you will get a notification and I'll write the date of when I announce something with it. So here we go:

Update n.1  -  20/08/2021
(also known as Ben Barnes' birthday)

▪   I started editing the book (grammatical errors and sentence clearance) so every chapter that has a gif at the top means it has been edited. While on the topic of gifs I'll take this opportunity to announce a special COMPETITION. Gifs used will be from the S&B show, the person who will be the first to comment the most lines said by characters in those gifs will get a special shoutout on my profile, Instagram, in this book AND they will get a special opportunity to create their very own character that I will include in the prequel of this story. All you have to do is be alert for the updates of this book and be the first to comment!

▪   Sadly the Spanish translation of this book no longer exists, the author has respectfully apologised and stated that she realised writing is not for her thus why she unpublished it. But for anyone wondering there is still the Portuguese one and you can find it in my reading list!

Update n.2 - 31/08/2021

I'm so happy to see all of you participate in the competition! You are doing so good and I hope you like this system of two chapters a day!

For all of you who have been consistent so far with commenting, don't forget -- there are gifs in the introduction chapter as well that you can comment on for the competition!

Update n.3 - 07/09/2021

END OF COMPETITION

I am here to tell everyone that the COMPETITION is officially closed, you can still comment on the gifs if you want it just won't get you anything. I enjoyed these last two weeks and a half reading your comments and watching from the sidelines when you were trying to figure out what the characters on the gifs were saying.

Now, I judged according to how many times someone was the first to comment (that was important because if anyone commented later they would just copy the quote from the first one), I judged based on the correctness of the quotes and on how many chapters each individual participant commented.

Two people were able to make it to the very end and I am very, very happy to announce sortileges as the official WINNER! CONGRATULATIONS! You managed to comment on all chapters, (even if some of your comments were booted to the bottom because of the glitch), all of your comments were also correct and I hope you had the most fun during this competition! I look forward to working with you!

This book is getting another Spanish translation so go check out fleur-de-soleil who blessed us all with the translation. The book looks amazing so go show it some love!
