Vex's uncle then took her in as his own and began travelling across the vast seas with the young child side by side. He taught her how to read & write, finances, how to cheat in a game of poker and how to make the best scones. Vex adored her uncle and planned to continue to travel the larger waters by his side until the age 15, a storm brewed over the seas in which the ship was smashed into pieces, sending them overboard and sadly costing her Uncle's life. Vex and her pet lizard Giya survived luckily as the pair held onto a pallet of wood, drifting off towards nowhere. Day's went on as Vex clutched onto the necklace her uncle had given her the night before the storm as she began to accept fate when a palace ship spotted the girl sprawled on this floating pallet, barely alive and rushed back to Vasuvia. She was then taken in by the palace servers and was trained to become a servant for the count and countess. Years go by, Vex now aged 23 lives in little apartment within the city centre with Giya and works at the palace by day and a tavern further to the outer edges of town called the Rowdy Raven. Vex was born as a pixie with the typical ears but she has yet to master her powers or even unlock them which she had reached out to Nadia for assistance, which lead Vex to meeting Asra and Faust which she would learn and train herself with his assistance with payment of a warm meal. Vex eventually met Julien after dragging him out of the Rowdy Raven one lonely night after he'd gotten into a fight with some drunk, the pair then walked back to her house where she helped him recover from his drunken state- The two became close after that.
