Louis' POV
I drove up to Briana's house and get out of my car. I walked to her porch and knocked on the door.
The door gets opened by Briana her stepdad, Brett
"Hello sir is Briana home?" I asked him because I didn't let her know I was coming.
"Yeah she is. She's in her room. Upstairs the second door on the right." I smiled at him as a thank you and walked to her door.
I knocked 2 times before I heard her angelic voice "come in."
I opened the door but didn't move. Too scared.
"Oh hi Louis. I didn't know you would come." She smiled.
"No im sorry I didn't tell you. I wanted to talk to you." I was still standing by the door.
"Oh okay. Take a seat and close the door please."
I did what she asked and say by her bureau. My face towards her.
"How are you?" I asked her unsure.
"I'm okay. What about you?"
"Yeah I'm alright."
Then she asked me the question I knew she would ask but I wasn't prepared...
"Why did you kiss me back?" She asked, blushing a little.
"I... I honestly don't really know to be honest..." she looked a little hurt. But why does she look hurt?
"So you just kissed back because you didn't want me to feel bad or?"
"No! No it's not that. I don't know. I'm confused Briana I'm sorry."
"What did you wanna tell me?" She sounded a little mad.
"That im gonna use the money for college. The money I was saving for mom." I said sad.
"Great! Im happy for you."
There was an awkward silence. Both thinking.
"I think I should leave."
"Yeah maybe you should." I got up and walked downstairs. I saw Briana's mom, Tammi.
"Hey Louis! Good to see you again. I'm working on the case and trying to find a date in court." I smiled at her.
"Thank you Tammi." She smiled back.
"I saw you and Briana kissing yesterday huh." She winked at me. Oh no.
"Yeah uhm, that was a mistake." Tammi looked shocked.
"Well you two look cute together but it's non of my business." She gave a small smile.
"I'm gonna go, let me know if you need me."
"Yeah okay, have a save drive." Her smile got a little bigger.
"Thank you, bye." Tammi have a small wave and started making dinner again.
