When they got to their destination, they met up with Matt and Macklin. And they all got a cab to the hotel they are staying at. Rob carries Ayla on his hip and Matt has Macklin on his safety reins. Frank ended up falling asleep in the cab on the way and they couldn't wake him up, so Rich is carrying him while Fletch and Steve help the bellboy carry things up to the rooms. They decided to get a suite, so Rob and Rich are splitting it between them until Jaci arrives. Matt got his own room with Mack, which is on the same floor. In fact, everyone is on the same floor. Which is good. Saying goodnight to Matt, Rich and Rob enter their room with the boys following them.

They drop the bags and run over to claim the beds. Rich chuckles, putting Frank down. Rob managed to arrange getting a crib and a playpen in the suite and he is happy to see that set up. "Boys, you are staying in the other room" Rich tells them, pointing to the other side of the suite. Where there is a single and a separate double bed "Two of you have to share, so decide who sleeps where". Then he gently shakes his youngest, finally waking him up "Frankie, there's a bed over there for you. You can sleep there". He nods, tiredly sliding off the bed he's on. And despite his older brothers arguing, he walks right past them to climb up onto the single bed and quickly passes out.

That's when Ayla starts to cry. Rob frowns before sitting down with her "Sorry, Rich". "It's all good, man. Don't worry" He replies before going to see his boys. Rob gives her his finger to chew on and she stops crying. He smiles, kissing her head listening to her satisfied babbling. He hears Rich saying goodnight to his own kids and then he comes back through. "So, that's what you did?" He asks. Rob shrugs "Yeah, worst mistake of my life". "I'll say. No wonder you were tired. You'd be there all night. Here" He chuckles before getting the icybite keys. Rob replaces his finger with that and she seems to notice as she starts to fuss. She pushes the toy away, causing Rich to chuckle. He tries again, and this time she takes it. She chews on the cooler bit and Rich goes into the bathroom to change. Rob puts Ayla in the playpen with the keys so he can do the same. He changes into an old grey t-shirt and pyjama bottoms and Rich comes back in without a shirt on, but has bottoms on. "I'd sleep in what I normally would, but there's a baby" He jokes.

Rob rolls his eyes as he holds his daughter close to his chest. He feels her starting to chew on his shirt and sighs "No, sweetie. Don't do that, here". He gives her the keys back and she chews on them. Rich watches from his chosen bed "How long does it usually take for her to fall asleep?". Rob shrugs "It depends". "On what?" He replies. "On how tired I am, I think" He chuckles. Rich shakes his head, smiling. "Um... usually it takes about ten or fifteen minutes. But she isn't a great sleeper in general, without the added bonus of sore gums" He answers. Then winces "She'll probably wake you up as well". Rich shrugs "Hey, believe me. I'm sure the boys were a lot worse than her. And there are three of them. Don't worry about it. She won't bother me".  "Are you sure?" He sighs. Rich chuckles "Yes, I'm sure. Rob, I said I'd be here for you the whole way through this. I don't care if I lose some sleep. I want you to know that you aren't alone in this, okay? You need to know that, man". He smiles slightly "Thanks, Rich". They continue to talk and come up with bits that they could do on stage in the next few days as they wait for Ayla to fall asleep. And she does after just five minutes. But Rob knows that means she'll wake up more throughout the night. He gently rubs her chest soothingly before putting her in the crib. He lays her blanket on top of her lightly, then puts her stuffed elephant in beside her, along with the icybite. Then he sticks a pacifier in her mouth. He quietly releases a breath that he didn't know he was holding before heading over to the remaining bed. Rich is in his bed, on his phone, texting Jaci.

Later

For the third time that night, Rob wakes up to her cries. He sits up groggily, rubbing his eyes. When he comes to, he notices his best friend is already up, holding his daughter on his hip. Her cries quieten, but she still whimpers. "My gosh, woman. Let your daddy sleep" He sighs heavily, then mumbles something incoherent. Rob smiles, shaking his head before lying back on the pillows. Rich then starts to walk around with her a little "You are one fussy baby. I'll tell you that much. But guess what, I was right. Compared to the boys, you are a dream". Rob smiles, then goes back to sleep.
