As Mayumi herself would put it, "he was a cute baby, but he always had such an angry face back then". Had a love of cats from infancy, his favorite you being a stuffed cat.

Kindergarten - Elementary

Idolizes his mother's adoptive father, who would pick him up from school when his parents would be busy. Whenever he had a bad day, he would always be greeted by the smell of his grandfather's cooking which would cheer him up right away. Would learn the recipes from both him and his grandmother, and would practice making the recipes with them as well as his mother.

Junior High

After the death of his adoptive grandparents due to old age, would become a bit more quick to anger. He had the coldest of states and the harshest of tones, but really he was still the same good kid underneath that, a fact those that would stick around would learn. Befriend him, and you've got a loyal pal that would defend you again and again, plus bring you some of whatever recipe he made the other day with his mother.

High School

Cooks for his mother and helps around with chores along with errands on days she's really busy or exhausted from running the café. On days he isn't busy, he also would go down to the café and lend his mother a hand there as well. Mayumi always says she's happy to have such a hardworking and caring son, a statement that always causes him to get embarrassed and wave it off, though she knows her son actually appreciates the praise and thanks.

After High School

Goes to work at the café of his grandparents after graduation. Keeps the tradition of the family recipes he learned from them, but has added new things to the menu as well. A pure mama's boy through and through, he insists Mayumi stays home more often, not wanting her to overwork herself.
