Hi all, this is a quick chapter to introduce you to the main protagonist of this novel, however if you wish to envision anyone else including yourself, then that is completely optional and fair enough. This is just so some readers can put the name to a face and envision the character suitably as this is whom I envisioned when writing, as said, it is completely your call.

Audreyana Michelle as Scarlet Meadows:

An eighteen year old girl with an addictive personality whom makes impulsive decisions with desire for them to end with fun. Scarlet was looking for a good time as she usually would most evenings, and coincidentally so was he.

Drew starkey as Rafe Cameron:

He was focused on doing right by his dad, stepping up and being the man he longed to be to be noticed for his doings. Trapped in the middle of a cocaine addiction and a torn mindset, he wasn't looking for fun he was looking for a distraction. That's when he found her.

Sabrina Carpenter as April Aaron:

She had been best friends with Scarlet since they were old enough to wear diapers, closer than two peas in a pod and were severely inseparable. That was until the male figure became prominent in her best friends life and she began to see Scarlet much less, yet not less enough to notice a change in the females behaviour.

Jacob Elordi as Lake Meadows:

His position as an elder brother had hit the rocks since leaving home and neglecting his family for the dream life style he longed to live since being a child, resulting in Scarlet being the only child and only responsibility. But what happens when she needs her brother to lean on in a time of need?

Chad Micheal Murray as Oscar Bailey:

Some of the prettiest faces inherit the cruelest souls, Oscar being one of them. A life long friend of Rafe's that encourages his abnormal behaviour and takes an interest in the Cameron's new plus one- but he knows better than to cross the boundaries, having fun and toying with the two was never off the table for him though.

The other characters are as casted in the tv series and are the regular actors/ actresses. I do not own those fictional individuals and only have ownership of Scarlet, her family and April etc.

TW: This novel will include sexual, explicit content, graphic depictions of violence, manipulation, strong language, drug abuse and mature themes that will explore abuse and trauma in some aspects as it is a realistic take on what I believe it would be like when being romantically involved with Rafe Cameron. This book is endorsed as an 18+ and viewers discretion is advised, some may be trigger of what includes inside this fic.

As the contents may trigger some, so read on with caution of being warned and a mature outlook on its themes.

The novel may begin with a soft intent but will soon venture down a dark path, so do not be fooled by the relationship between the two in the first few chapters. Rafe is TOXIC, this is a toxic fic so please do remember that.
