Anywhooo,
Rant number 4, I usually cry about the bnha manga if you're new, and if you aren't, you know how i am.
OK SO SINCE NEJIRE PROBABLY REMINDS AIZAWA OF OBORO-
I SEE HIM THINKING OF HER AS HIS LITTLE SISTER/NIECE/GODDAUGHTER.
So he "screams" at her a lot more than others, and she absolutely despised him for a while. And then like, he pushes it too far one day with scolding her and she flat out starts crying in the middle of class because what he said might've hit home, she was going through a bad day, or it just piled up too much and she couldn't take it, and it led to her just crying in the middle of class so he lets her leave class and continues, but before school the next day, he leaves one of Oboro's favorite snacks on her desk and a little note that said sorry, and To eat it at lunch.
So Nejire kinda loved the snack and she's seen eating it literally everywhere and everyday and shit. And like, she blames Aizawa for this everlasting love for this snack.
And like, he absolutely cares for her so much, as if that's his child, just because he doesn't wanna see her get hurt, and would literally expel her just so she doesn't die like Oboro did.
Ok but
Nejire getting hurt really badly and Aizawa getting so panicked and scared that he's at her hospital bed the entire time with Ryuko.
Ryuko got into a loud fight with Aizawa over Nejire as well.

Anyways, Aizawa scolded Nejire again, but it was a lot more worried than it ever was and
Nejire is the first person since Oboro's death to see him cry from pure emotion. Not because of dry eyes, nothing. She is the first person in about ten years to see him cry.
Nejire begins to think of him better because well, he's actually concerned about her. But like, he's still an asshole. so now they have a father daughter relationship where she'll just pick on him, and laugh at him and he'll just go "sit down Hadou."
OMG BUT LIKE-
Aizawa never telling Nejire about Oboro, and telling Tamaki and Mirio to look after her. And they're both confused, so they do their best to do that and protect her and all that, and Aizawa is just happy to know that they're gonna be safe.
Then

Happens and Aizawa is just ashamed of himself for being out cold, and hearing about Nejire's burns from Dabi, and literally everyone else's shit. OH AND ESPECIALLY WHEN HE FINDS OUT RYUKYU GOT HURT. Cuz remember she's probably his old student. He'd be so ashamed of himself.
Aizawa loves and thinks of Nejire as his niece or little sister and no one is allowed to convince me otherwise.
