Author's POV:
Jennie was getting ready, when a doorbell rang all across the house, and disturbed her. She came down stairs, focusing on her each step and opened the door. It was Taemin, her lover's best buddy. His childhood bestfriend.
"Are you ready yet?" He asked.
"Almost, just give me 10 minutes" Jennie replied.
"Come in" She added.
Taemin entered the house and sat on the couch in the living room, waiting for Jennie. It was 9:00 pm. Kai would be at the carnival near 12:00. But both Jennie and Taemin were really eager to meet him. What can you say? They both loved him so much.
Taemin unconsciously smiled looking at the White Daises in the vase. He knows how much his friend was crazy over Jennie.
Jennie came down again, Taemin went over to the stairs and gave Jennie his hand to help her come down.
"Do you want something to eat? Are you hungry?" Jennie asked Taemin, failing to hide her smile.
"No, no let's just go now" Taemin answered, slightly jumping on his feet.
They both rushed their way towards the door.
"Careful" Taemin said to Jennie and opened the passenger door for her.
Jennie sat inside and watched Taemin walking across the car to sit on the driver seat.
"Are you ready?" Taemin asked smiling widely.
"Always ready for him" Jennie answered smiling.
They drove for 30 minutes until they were at the carnival. There were only a few people roaming around. Because the carnival wont be starting until a few months. There was complete darkness in the area just one street light where they were standing was on.
One hour later
Jennie and Taemin have been waiting for an hour, still eagerly waiting for Kai.
In the dream i don't tell anyone, you put your head in my lap
"He'll be here, in an hour. I am sure" Taemin assured Jennie, but more like assured himself.
Jennie just nodded and smiled at him, still not losing hope.
Two hours later
"He's going to be here, any minute now" Jennie said looking at her watch, happily swinging her feets while sitting on a bench.
If you press me to say why i loved him, i can say no more than
Because he was he, and i was i
"Aren't you feeling anxiety?" Taemin asked.
"No, he always wanted me to be happy, so i am happy waiting for him, but only if i know he is coming back" Jennie's smile slowly faded.
I didn't lose myself with him, i just became a better person
"He will come right?" Jennie asked, more like assured herself.
