Jennie Pov:
"Hey jennie guess what" Rosé came running to me
"What happened now"
"Guess who is coming with me to the homecoming dance"
"Oh i see you got a date there.Idk maybe Lu Han?"
"Nooo Suho he asked me and these past few days we have been spending alot of time together"
"Oh do you like him" i asked rosé
"Yup and i think he does too" Rosé replied
The bell rang and i picked my bag from the chair
"I am happy for you but dont let him break your heart too i cant see you crying all night again" I said to rosé and took the towards my next class
It was Biology class another same class with Kai i was really looking forward to seeing him again.When i entered the class i saw him talking to another girl with a cute smile on his face. Its not like i am falling for him and cant see him with another girl but still i felt a little jealous. The time when kai hugged me i cant forget about that moment i felt so safe in his arms.The thoughts in my head went away when kai snapped his fingers infront of my face.I flinched a little and looked at him with my eyes widened and in confusion.
"Not you daydreaming again"Kai chuckled
"Did you sleep last night?"
"Uh yeah i was just thinking about something"
We were talking when Mr.Huang entered the class
"Sit down everyone" Mr.Huang asked the class
"Today we are going to do some experiments so pair up everyone"
I saw a girl walking towards Kai as if she was going to ask him if he wants to pair up with her.I looked at kai and he was looking at her too but just in a friendly way . Still all i wanted was to strangle her. I dont know why i was feeling jealous of that girl. Why is it not me whom kai is looking at and smiling.
She bend over and placed her arms on kai's table and asked him "Do you want to pair up? I am a really good partner "
"But i have already partnered up with someone else" Kai said to her while looking away
When that girl went back to her seat
Kai looked at me and said "You wanna pair up? I am really good at Experiments"
"I thought you already had a partner " i joked "But yeah only because you are good at it"
We both started following the teacher's instruction and completed it before anyone else could do it. That girl was looking at me like she was about to kill me and i don't even know her name. Then she came running to the teacher to show him her project. He announced That Mina and Leo have completed their project too. That's when i learned that her name was mina.

The bell rang and Kai was packing his bag
"Wait for me" i said
We both went to the cafeteria together and his friends were still not there i asked him to sit with us. He sat next to me and i introduced everyone to him.
Everyone this is kai. Kai this is rosie but just for me you can call her rosé. This is Jisoo,Lisa Bambam and Lucas
"Hey Kai, nice to meet you" everyone said in unison
We were all laughing at lucas's lame jokes when kai saw his friends coming towards cafeteria
i looked in the direction kai was looking
"Oh ask them to come sit with us" I said
Kai waved to his friends pointing that he is sitting here. They saw Kai sitting with us and started walking towards us.
"Hi" his friends said to our friends group
"You must be jennie" One of his friends said while looking at me
"Yup you got it all right" we both laughed
Kai introduced his friends to everyone sitting there
"So this is Taemin,Wendy,Suho and Tzuyu"
"Hey Suho i have heard about you alot" I said smiling while looking at rosé
Rose and Suho both were looking at each other smiling
"Come on guys we all know you both are going to the homecoming dance together don't be shy" i joked
Everyone was looking at me like they did not know what i was talking about.
"So Who is you partner for homecoming dance" wendy asked everyone sitting at that table
Everyone told who their partners were but only me and kai were sitting their with no partners
We all talked about random stuff , when everyone left to go to their classes but only me, taemin and kai were left on the table
"How come no one asked to be your partner for homecoming yet" I asked kai
"Ask him why he did not accept to go with anyone. He has rejected almost every girl in school" Taemin chuckled
"Homecoming is just a few days away you should ask someone before its too late" i said to kai and went out of the cafeteria
