Prologue

At Ansan Manor

It was a hot sunny day on the fourth of May. Aerin was video chatting a friend in her -room when, she heard a knock from her door.

"Wait a minute, someone's at the door... talk to you later Bin." She said through the phone after she hung hup.

"Come in." She beckon the person to enter, which the latter followed. It was her nanny er-'Aunt' as she pronounce, Mrs. Yang.

"Aerin dear, are you busy?" Mrs. Yang asked.

"Not really imo, just chatting with Binnie... why so?" She queried back.

"Your parents wants to discuss something with you." The elder answered.

"Oh, okay then, tell them I'll be there in a minute." She said politely.

"Okay dear, they're at the office. I'll be heading out now." Her nanny said before exiting her room.

She went to call her friend once again to continue their postponed conversation.

[On the phone]

Aerin:
Where were we?
Oh right, you were
the one saying
something...

Binnie:
I said, let's meet up!
It's been so long, I
missed seeing my best
friend's face!

Aerin:
Really Bin? It had
just been a month
since the summer
vacation.

Binnie:
See?! It had already
been a month since
we've last talked.

Aerin:
We're talking
right now...

Binnie:
It's diffrent than
talking in person,
look I just wanna
see you...

Aerin:
*chuckles* you
really miss me,
don't you?

Binnie:
Duh!

Aerin:
Whatever

Binnie:
So, what do
you say?

Aerin:
Huh? What do
you mean?

Binnie:
About the meet
up? Come on
Aerinie... please?

Aerin:
If I don't want to,
what would you
do huh?

Binnie:
Uh, um, you're not
going to be my
friend anymore

Aerin:
So? I still have
Yena. Haha

Binnie:
Uh, you're so unfair
Aerin! I just want to
see you (T-T)

Aerin:
Ugh, fine,
whatever. But
I have to
go now...

Binnie:
Yey! Wait-
Huh? Why?

Aerin:
My parents, imo told
me earlier that they
have something to say.

Binnie:
Oh, okay. But
promise me you'd
meet up okay?

Aerin:
Yeah, yeah

Binnie:
Promise?!

Aerin:
Yeah, promise.
Just text me where
we should meet up
okay, I gotta go now.

Binnie:
Okay, Bye
Aerinie! See
ya soon!

After that, she hung up the phone and went ot of her room to discuss that 'thing' with her parents.

She walked straight to their office to find her parents waiting inside.

"Took you long enough to come." Her dad said in a quite agitated tone.

"Sorry, I just had to end a chat with someone." She explained before taking a seat next to her mom. "So, what is it that you want to discuss?" She queried.

"We're leaving for America." Her father stated.

"What?!"
