° The professor's assistant °

Jessica was sitting at the Slytherin table waiting for Regulus to show up. He said he needed to do homework with Severus and Evan Rosier. Evan was also their age and he was really close to the Slytherin trio, but he spent a lot of time in the quidditch pitch working for strategies and ideas for the team. Regulus and Jessie were part of the team but they weren't as excited as Evan was for a match.

Once they finally finished their homework and showed up to the Hall, they sat down next to Jessie and stated talking about whatever came into their minds.

"Are you still mad at James?" Regulus asked "In two weeks it is the winter holidays, what are you going to do?"

"I'm definitely staying here" she answered

"Are you mad at your parents?" Evan said joining the conversation.

"Kind of. They are both dickheads that will always choose James Fucking Potter rather than me. That's why they want me to spend last year in Beauxbatons" She said

"Wait- And so you're leaving?" Severus asked

"Yeah" she said now being sad about the decision her family chose.

"I'm sorry" Evan said

"You don't have to be sorry for something you didn't do. Anyways, next week we have a match with Hufflepuff, right?" she asked

"Yes. And I'm hoping you are practicing a lot, am I right?" Evan asked to Regulus and Jessica

"Yes sir!" Regulus answered with a high tone.

"Good. Now let's go to sleep because I'm really close to falling asleep here." Severus said

They left the Great Hall laughing when a teacher called Jessica.

"Mrs. Potter, please follow me" McGonagall said.

"Sure professor. Is everything fine?" she asked

"Yes. Professor Dumbledore needs you in his office."

"Oh. Okey" Jessica said clueless

Once they entered Dumbledore's office, McGonagall left and Jessica saw a girl who was sitting in a chair in front of the old man.

"Ahh, Mrs.Potter! Thank you so much for coming today" He stood up to shake Jessie's hand "Please sit down. I will explain everything" He said "This is Lily Evans as you may know. I told you both to come because you are the best witches of your age and I had a great Idea"

(a/n: The Marauders and Regulus are the same age)

"I thought that it would be a good idea if you helped the Professors with the younger students in some subjects I notice you are very good at."

"Like the professor's assistant?" Lily asked

"That's correct Miss Evans. Like the professor's assistant" Dumbledore said "I noticed Mrs. Potter that you are very good at Defense Against The Dark Arts, while you Mrs. Evans, very good at Potions. If you both agree with this, you will be paired with another student with very high grades in the subject you are and you'll both be helping the teacher"

"I definitely agree with this sir" Lily said with a smile

"What about you Potter?" the man asked

"Yeah, sure" she said

"Good, good. Tomorrow you will have common classes till your last hour that you will have with the teacher you're supposed to help. You'll also meet your 'colleague' there. Have a nice Night" He said before both girls stood up and left the office

"I didn't know you were good at DADA" Lily said

"Sorry but... How was your name?" Jessica asked

"Oh. I'm Lily, Lily Evans" she said with a smile

"Right. My brother's crush" She said remembering how many times James talked about her

"He's really annoying though" Lily said

"I know, he's a piece of shit" Jessica said

"Aren't you going to say something like 'hey that's my brother, don't talk shit about him or I'll hex you' ?" Lily asked curiously

"God,no. He and my family deserves hell" She said angrily

"What did your parents do to you?" Lily asked

"You know something Evans? Now that I remember, my brother told me once about your family. Your parents love you so much, don't they?" Lily nodded "And you have a sister. Petunia Evans right?" She nodded again "Well. I know your parents love you more than they love your sister, James told me. It is the same with my family, they will always choose James over me." Jessica said walking away

"Jessica!" someone shouted behind her.

Oh shit.

"Uhm wha-" she started saying but she was interrupted by Sirius Black

"Remus told us everything!" he said excitedly

"You have to be joking" she said "Remus are you fucking serious?" she shouted angrily at the boy who was in front of her

"No, I'M Sirius" The raven-haired boy said

"Fuck you! I'm being Serious" She said

"Me too" Sirius said but he saw that Jessica was going to kill him if he kept joking "Okey... sorry" he said

"But is it true you can turn into a snake?" Peter Pettigrew said

"Yes! Yes it 's true. Please don't tell anyone" she said

"Please Moony, can we show her?" Sirius said happy

"No padfoot, what if Minnie finds us?" Remus said

"Let's go to the forbidden forest then" Peter suggested

"No"

"Yes"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Fine!" Remus said giving up

"Wait" Jessica said and the boys turned around to see her "It's really late and I want to sleep so bad. Tomorrow at 11.am meet me at the entrance of the forest. Have a good night" she said leaving the guys but she heard Peter say 'We'll bring James too!" so she turned around and told him to shut up and then she left.

Once she got back to the Slytherin common room, she found Regulus and Evan talking. She waved them goodbye and got to her dorm to sleep.
