° The wedding °

"I'm not lying, Florence. He's going to get married and he invited me to his wedding! Tomorrow!" Jessica shouted at her friend, who came from France when she heard the drama.

"But he loves you Jessica! It can't be true, he's probably joking." Florence said

"He's not joking unfortunately" Peter said entering the kitchen "He's marrying Ambrosia Parkinson"

"Wait what-" Jessica asked in shock "But Ambrosia was dating Evan, and she was my best friend"

"It's an arranged marriage. When Walburga was told that you weren't a Parkinson and Ambrosia was your best friend, she wanted to do something in revenge, for both you and her. She decided to marry him and 'Brosie' for you to suffer" Sirius said

"Oh- well, I think they are going to be an amazing couple and it's not their fault anyways. I was the one who left, not Ambrosia" Jessica said with a sad smile

"But it wasn't your fault as well. You were sent to France because two death eaters made you go, not because you wanted to escape or anything" Peter said

"I know, but there's nothing to do now, they are going to get married and I can't do anything or Walburga and Orion will kill me" Jessica said and left the room

It was Saturday and Jessica was getting dressed when she saw an owl coming through her window. It was Regulus'

I was informed that your french friend is here, and as the wedding is coming, I wanted to tell you that she can assist too. I hope that makes you feel comfortable and she doesn't spend her time here alone.

"Florence, come here" Jessica shouted from her bedroom door

"What?" she asked

"Regulus send me a letter, you can come to the wedding" Jessica said

"Nice, I want to see the drama there" Florence laughed

"It's not funny! You know I love him and he's getting married!!" Jessica said angrily

"Ok, I'm sorry" Florence stopped laughing

Jessica decided to dress with a nice green dress and a white pair of heels. She decided to use a nice necklace that Remus gave her some years ago that had a picture of them eating chocolate.

Once she finished getting dressed, she went to the living room where everyone invited to the wedding was sitting.

"Are we all ready?" Remus asked

"Florence and Peter are missing" James said

"They're probably sha-" Sirius started saying

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Sirius Orion Black" Jessica said "She's my best friend! She would never-"

"I'm sorry guys, we were... busy?" Florence said doubting a little bit and Jessica's mouth was wide opened

"You- Him-? Have you both-" She asked in shock

"I told you dear Jess" Sirius muttered next to her

"I- I don't know how to feel about that- Congratulations I suppose?" Jessica said

"Now that the rat and the french girl are ready, can we go please?" James asked

"Yeah, let's go" Remus said while everyone started getting out of the house but he waited for Jessica "Don't be sad, Jess. He has no option. I'm sure that you'll find a man who loves you as he did"
