"Why does it seems... He looks familiar?" Pluem thought.
Pluem is a police officer, he is a newbie but he was taught how to be alert and observe his surroundings. This new nurse that his father hired for him is acting very suspiciously. And it felt like he met him before.
" What's your name again?" He asked with a tone he was using when he caught someone and is investigating.
"I'm Chimon," He said but didn't stop on what he is doing. At that time, he was preparing the antiseptics solution and other supplies that he will be using to clean and disinfect the two day old wound in Pluem's torso, which seems very smooth and hard to touch. It was a generous amount of luck that the bullet didn't reach any of his vital parts. Such a lucky guy!
"Have we met before?" He asked, making Chimon's heart beats faster, he started to sweat a lot, which makes him pour too much antiseptic on the cotton that he will be using.
Stupid! He thought to himself.
"I don't think so," He lied.
A bad move for a clever guy like Chimon.
Stupid! He is a cop you idiot. And you just act like a guilty suspect. Unbelievable.
"You're lying," Pluem said it with flat tone, "You're obviously lying, you're sweating a lot. You're not a good liar, you know?"
Chimon sighed. Admitting defeat. He knows that there's no way he could avoid being recognised by this guy. He is a police officer after all. Thus, he remove his mask to show Pluem his face.
Pluem wasn't reacting at first but when it sinks in and remembered who Chimon is, his eyes widen.
"You are that guy! The one who spill the coffee on me and let his friend hit me." Pluem said. "Be thankful that I left my badge on my car that time, if I have it I could put both of you in jail."
Chimon put his straight face and started with disinfecting the wounds despite Pluem talking rough on him.
"I'm sorry but I'm sure that it's you who have acted like a jerk and deserves that punch, to think you were an officer."
Pluem's face turned red. If it was embarrassment or anger Chimon can't pinpoint. But he won't bow down to someone like Pluem. It's just for two weeks, he just need to deal with him for two weeks, but it was only Day 1. Chimon sighed as he is putting the gauze on Pluem's torso.
"Take this," He ordered the man while handing him the medicines on the vials, "These are your meds, antibiotic & mefenamic to ease the pain. Don't worry, it would just be for two weeks. Once my job is done, we will be gone."
Pluem wasn't talking anymore.
"And please stop acting like a child... It's not cute."
Then he left the room.
And that's how Chimon deals with his grumpy, rude patients. He shows them whose the boss.
Pluem was left with his jaw hanging a bit. And face still red as tomato both in anger and embarrassment. He doesn't think he could deal with this guy. He is such a nuisance.
How dare you?!
Thus, he decided to call his Dad.
It was on the second ring that New answered his call.
"Hello, Dad?"
"Hey, baby, how are you? Did Chimon already cleaned your wounds?"
"Where dod you meet that guy?"
