III. Chain Of Unfortunate Events

Chimon's POV

"So... What do you think?" I asked my best friend Love.

I met Love and Drake when P'Non and I moved in their neighbourhood. Loverukk is beautiful but acts a little bit boyish which makes me feel comfortable with her when we first met. Just like Drake she is a very straight forward person. If she doesn't like you she would definitely tell you that.

And now, just like many other moments in my life. I'm asking for her advice.

"Isn't that a good thing? ... Dr. New is good to you... You said he threats you like a son. And it's a good catch. He would pay you above the standard wage for nursing home his son."

Chimon just finished his internship and now in waiting to be absorbed by the hospital he have served as its resident. And since, he is still in waiting, he have spare time but lack of money.

"Aren't you listening?" Chimon said."Which part of the" the boy is rude" you didn't get?"

"Aww.... Isn't rude and grumpy patients your specialty?"

I raised my eye brow on her.

"That's a joke!" she said laughing. "Seriously, what stopping you accepting this job?"

Chimom sighed.

"Dr. New said that if ever I accept the job, I have to stay-in their house until his recovery. If I accept it, what will happen to my P'Non."

"Haven't you raised this concern to Dr. New?"

Chimon shook his head.

"He actually remembered about my Phi himself and take him in consideration, and ended up on offering me to bring him along."

"Isn't that great?!" Love said.

"It is... But Isn't it too much?"

"Well... You need the job." Love said as a matter of factly. "It's not like you have any other choice. Just grab it."

Then I nod. She's right I need this job.

"By the way, Have you met Dr. New's son before."

Chimon shook his head again.

"well... Everyone was talking about him. They said that he is a handsome but obnoxious man. I really don't care about it though."

But Love hasn't been Chimon's best friend for nothing. Love like Chimon is nosy on her own rights. So of course, she would like to know. So she gets her phone and google the young, handsome and rich boy, Pluem Vihokratana, the eldest son of the famous head neurologist New Vihokratana and the tycoon Tay Vihokratana.

At that time, Chimon is already calling Dr. New to confirm his answer.

"Dr. New..I would like to accept the job.. If it is still available."

"Oww..." Dr. New can't hide his happiness even over the phone "Really Chi? Thank you... I just like to have someone with expertise to check on Plue. And I know how good and hard working you are. You are like a son to me. I know that he will be in a very capable hands. It's just... Our Plue is a little bit grumpy towards new people but once he warms up to you he will be completely adorable. But I know that you are not new with dealing with grumpy patients. I trust you. "

You're saying that because he is your son.

" Thank you, Dr. New" Chimon was overwhelmed by the older man's words. "But are you sure that I could bring my Phi along? Isn't too much?"

"Of course, Chi, you and your brother are always welcome..." Dr. New said "I'm actually glad that we could have you and Non at home, at least, Plue and Frank would have company. And your Phi'Non is actually one of my favourite person"
