Leah's POV

I heard the phone ring from the other room. I walked to the kitchen and picked up. It was a woman, and she sounded worried.

"Umm, excuse me, is this Ms. Leah Meyer?" She asked.

"Yes, this is. Who is this?"

"This is Albany Franklin, with Los Angeles South Hospital. We were told to call this number. Please come as soon as you can."

"WHAT HAPPENED?! I'll come as soon as I can!" I yelled into the phone. I grabbed my keys and my crossbody satchel and raced out the door. I hopped on my Hartley and zoomed off as fast as I could.

I got to the hospital and took the keys out of my Hartley. The last I saw the boys, they were about to go check out a new venue. Our trip to the beach had been a few days ago. I prayed that it wasn't them in the hospital, but they were really my only friends in LA. I ran in and went to the front desk. I told the guy my name and he gave me the room number.

Room 127, 128, 129... there it is! 130-133. I looked over and saw a sad Axl and Slash sitting in a bench in front of the room. They both had puffy eyes. I adjusted my leather GN'R jacket and walked over to them. I sat next to Slash. Axl didn't even look at me. He acted as if he didn't acknowledge me. He just stared at the wall with his eyes wide. Slash looked at me and put his arm around me. I noticed a tear roll down his face.

"You guys what happened?" I asked with a rushed tone. "A car accident. We were t-boned." I looked at him as my eyes widened.

"Are they gonna be ok?!" I questioned, continually getting more and more worried.

"Izzy and Duff should be ok. We don't know about Steven." Slash sobbed. I gave him a hug.

"I'm gonna go in and check on each of them." I swallowed, feeling a knot form in my stomach. I first walked into Izzy's room.

He gave me a weak smile. "H-hi Leah." He said, trying to be optimistic.

"You're gonna be ok." I said, forcing a smile. I walked over and stood next to the bed, staring at him. I leaned down and gave him a kiss. I pulled away and he smiled.

"I love you." He said gently. "I love you too, Iz." I said in response. I then went next door to see a beat up Duff with a wrapped up arm and a bandage around his head. He looked worse than Izzy.

"Oh, Duffy!" I said, looking at him with sympathy in my eyes. "I'm so sorry!" I leaned down and hugged him, trying not to hurt him. I pulled away he smiled. "I'll be ok, it's just a broken arm." He said, reassuring me that it'll be fine.

"I'm gonna check on Stevie." I mentioned.

"I— I wouldn't." He said with a soft frown on his face.

"What... what happened?" I asked, feeling like I was about to fall to the ground and cry. I wanted to curl up in a little ball and listen to music and cry. I couldn't take the pressure.

"He took a hit directly. He actually jumped in front of me when he noticed the car had run the light. He isn't doing so well." His tough voice faded into a sob and a tear formed in his eyes. "I'm sorry," he said, trying to comfort me. I collapsed to the floor and I started balling. Steven was one of my best friends, and now I'm not sure if he's gonna be ok.

I looked up to see Duff crying with me while laying on the bed. "I'm going anyway." I said with a firm voice as I was standing up, trying to be strong.

I walked in and saw Stevie. He was unconscious. I looked at him and sighed. "I love you, Stevo. I'm sorry. I wish I was there for you. I came as fast as I could. Please wake up." I whispered in his ear. I sat in the chair next to his bed and patted his head, like a dog. Slash walked in with his hands in his pockets and his shoulders scrunched up.

"I wish I could've done something..." he said, looking down and playing with his toes against the floor. "I know it must be hard for you to see your own band mate in this position." I stated, trying to sympathize. Slash had always been so rough and tough, but now I was seeing his true self. He was a soft little boy in his heart.

I stood up and walked over to him. I hugged him, and fell into his chest. He leaned his chin on the top of my head. He put his arms around my torso and I cried into his chest. We stood there for a few minutes and rocked back and forth. "He'll be ok," he spoke gently, hugging me tighter. I just leaned into his chest more and continued to sob.

After a while I went back to my chair and he sat in the one across from me. We talked a little bit and we hung out. We wanted to be with Steven when he woke up.
