The boys had just played one of their biggest shows yet, and it was fantastic. All the boys were drunk out of their minds, and I was the only one here that was sober. I just didn't feel like getting drunk.
I watched as Slash stumbled in and sat on the couch next to me. He looked over and smiled.
"Hey Leah," he slurred.
"Umm, hi Slash, I think we should get you home..." I insisted.
"No! I wanna stay!" He continued.
"Okay," I rolled my eyes. At this point Duff and Steven had walked in.
Then I had to assist Axl, because he had already fallen twice and I didn't want him to get hurt. I helped him up and he drunkenly fell onto the couch. After a while of waiting, I decided to just ask the boys.
"Where's Izzy?" I asked. (No pun intended)
"Oh, I think... he's in the sound room." Steven slurred.
"Ok, I'll go check." I responded.
I walked to the edge of the doorway. I peaked my head in and saw Izzy. The only problem was that there was a girl. And his lips were on her neck. I stared at the horrid sight until I saw my boyfriend sliding his hand up her shirt. I swung the door open wider as he turned in fright.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT, IZZY? FOREVER? WHY DID I BELIEVE YOU?!" I boomed. The girl looked at Izzy with a confused face. Izzy looked at my face as a tear made its way down my cheek. He looked at my with a sympathetic expression. He started to walk towards me but I stopped him.
"No. It's over." I croaked, trying to hold back the tears. I stormed out crying. Duff saw me and pulled me into a hug. He walked me into the bathroom and cleaned up my face.
"Honey, relax. It's ok," he said comfortingly.
"No, it's not o—" I was interrupted by a kiss. Duff kissed me on the lips and I fell into his embrace. I had already told him what happened, and he agreed that Izzy was a jerk. He pulled away and I fell into his chest. He held me close and stroked my head.
"I'm gonna have a talk with that motherfucker," He said through clenched teeth. "No one like him deserves a girl like you." He whispered. I hugged him tighter and cried into his shirt.
He kneeled down and moved the hair out of my face. "That man has some nerve to think that he can cheat on you and get away with it," he said as I stared into his eyes. He got up and walked out the door. All I could hear was muffled yelling. I leaned my ear to the door in order to hear better.
"IZZY! WHAT THE HELL! ALL SHE HAS DONE IS BEEN LOYAL TO YOU AND YOU GO AND DO THAT?!" Duff screams. I hear Izzy crying.
"I-I-I," he stutters.
"You KNOW that she is vulnerable. She has done everything to make you happy. She would die for you. And you have the nerve to go and cheat on her with some groupie?! I've loved her this whole time, but I haven't tried to take her from you! She is so sweet, and I know for a fact that she loves you," I could hear his voice start to crack.
"I-I'm s-sorry," Izzy sobs.
"You should be apologizing to her, not me." He says as I hear him storm out. I open the door slightly and poke my head out. We just stare at each other for a second until I walk out. His eyes were bloodshot and his nose was red.
"Leah, I—"
"Izzy, I fucking trusted you and you screwed it up." I snapped.
I walked out and slammed the door.
Izzy's POV
I didn't purposefully cheat on Leah. I was drunk, and the girl forced herself on me. I didn't think Leah would find out. Now I've fucked up my relationship with the whole band. The problem is that I love her. A lot. I got a little tune stuck in my head.
"Said woman take it slow
it'll work itself out fine
All we need is just a little patience,"I need paper. I started scribbling down lyrics and soon Axl came in, at first mad, but then I convinced him to help me write a song for Leah. Patience.
If I can't have you right now, I'll wait dear.
It fits. I need to fix this. I went back to the apartment with Axl and we finished the song. It took convincing, but I got the boys to help me apologize. We are going to perform the song, I'll sing, Axl will do back up vocals, and everything will be ok, right?
