Special Chapter I
"Blaise and Kenzo's first night in Boracay"
"Kuya magmumukmok ka nalang ba diyan? Ayaw mo bang gumala sa labas. Sayang naman 'yong pag punta natin dito."
With a sigh, I replied. "Sure."
Blaise instantly smiles at my response.
"Hayaan mo kuya. Susubukan kong iumpog 'yong ulo ni ate mamaya baka sakaling magising siya." he jokes. We both laugh because of what he said.
"C'mon! Let's just head to the beach."
Blaise and I went to the beach after changing our clothing. When we stepped outside, the sun was already sinking, yet the vista grew even more amazing as the sun set. When we swim at the beach, the water is warm, the coconut trees are massive, and the view behind us is breathtaking. My attention wandered away from Naomi and his old friend, Trent, for a brief moment.
Alam kong wala akong karapatan para magselos pero iyon ang nararamdaman ko.
5 days.
That's all I need to show Naomi how much I admire, or possibly love her. And I don't want to waste any time. But Trent invited her to meet with him on our first day in Boracay, and that quickly shifted my plans.
I had to miss a day to be with her, but that's fine. That is her decision. She is free to associate with whoever she wishes. She didn't choose me, sadly.
"Kuya tulaley ka na naman d'yan! Pusta ako, si ate na naman iniisip mo no?"
Tumawa lang ako kaya napailing si Blaise.
"Gusto mong uminom nalang kuya?"
"Hindi ka pwede. Baka sakin magalit ang ate mo."
"Ikaw lang iinom. Tanggero mo nalang ako." he offered, laughing. Akala ko nagbibiro lang siya pero totoo nga na naging tanggero ko siya.
After accepting his proposal, we hurriedly returned to our hotel. We took a shower before heading back outside to get some alcoholic beverages. I told Blaise that I could get by with just beers, but he persisted on purchasing a couple strong cocktails. And I regret not stopping Blaise since all he gave me was heavy liquor, and I'm sure I'll have the worst hangover the next day!
"MAS GWAPO AKO KAYSA SAYO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Some passersby were staring at me while I'm standing outside the balcony of our hotel. Blaise was laughing so hard that he started tearing up while clutching his stomach.
"Kuya tama na sa pagsigaw baka palayasin na tayo dito sa hotel! Ayaw kong matulog sa labas." Blaise said, still laughing on the floor. Nagkalat n iyong mga bote ng alak sa sahig.
"Blaise." My face became serious. "Sabihin mo nga sakin 'yong totoo. Mas gwapo ako kaysa sa Trent na 'yon, hindi ba?"
"Kuya naka-isang milyon na yata akong ulit sayo. Oo nga mas gwapo ka kay kuya Trent. Ikaw kaya lodi ko!" sagot niya bago kami nag fist bump.
"I think I need to go back to the gym and start building my 8 pack abs!"
"6 pack lang meron ka kuya. Wag masyadong hambog."
Sabay kaming tumawa dahil totoo naman iyong sinabi ni Blaise. Somehow, knowing that Blaise likes me more for her sister makes me feel a lot better. Blaise and I really get along. And I don't know about the history of Trent and Naomi, but I am sure that I will never break her heart.
"Galit ka ba kay ate dahil mas pinili niyang makipag-kita kay kuya Trent?"
I smiled a little at Blaise. "No." I trailed off. "I don't think I'm capable of getting mad at your sister."
Mabilis na lumawak iyong ngiti sa labi ni Blaise at saka siya umiling. "Iba talaga ang tama mo kay ate kuya lodi!"
My smile grew wider. "omsim." I said.
"Kahit ututan ka sa mukha ni ate hindi ka magagalit?"
"Mabaho ba?" I asked while laughing, I can't seem to imagine Naomi farting on my face.
Blaise's face became horror. "SOBRA!"
If only Naomi knew what her brother is telling me. Blaise will very certainly be ousted from their home. If this occurs, I will gladly adopt him. We have a great chemistry. Blaise reminds me of a younger sibling I never had. In fact, nagkakasundo kami sa maraming bagay.
"I will let her fart on my face whenever she wants. I will even tell her that her fart is not mabaho."
"Grabe pakasal na kayo ni ate!"
"We're not even together yet."
"Lapit na 'yan lodi. Baka bukas na bukas sagutin ka rin agad ni ate kapag nalaman niyang hahayaan mo siyang ututan ka niya sa mukha."
"Please don't tell her that or we're both dead!" we high-fived and nodded our head in agreement.
I'm thankful for having Blaise tonight. At least my first night in Boracay was not so bad after all.
