Landyn's POV

I heard the sound of the chains moving and my neck was hurting from the position I slept in against the tree. I opened my eyes and got so angry with my alpha. Given she was untying me I was still mad.

"How dare you leave me chained up all night! And fucked in front of me none the less!"

"Silencio." Hope came up from behind y/n smirking.

I seriously always hated that she used her god damn magic against me. Even now that she has a new girlfriend, she uses her stupid magic against me.

"You're evil." Y/n laughed.

I rolled my eyes as they unchained me. They put the chains back in the car while I went inside and tried not to barf from their scent everywhere.

I just wanted to get back to my dorm. Penelope should be there. She's probably worried because I was supposed to be back last night.

After last night I just wanted to spend the day with Penelope. Things are so much easier with her. I also knew things were becoming more than just friends.

They got into the car and drove us back to the school after Hope lifted the stupid silencing spell. As soon as we were through the school's gates I hopped out of the car. I didn't even bother to wait for Hope to stop. That scent was disgusting. I needed a shower.

I went up to my dorm room and was happy to see that Penelope was there. I quickly frowned when I saw that she sat on the floor hugging my stuffed frog. Her expression was almost emotionless. She hadn't even noticed I had come into my room.

"Pen? Are you alright?" I cautiously got closer to her.

She blinked a few times and looked at me and frowned. "You didn't come back last night. What happened?"

I rolled my eyes annoyed. "Hope happened. They had me chained to the tree and after the moon had reached its apex I was supposed to be unchained. Hope and y/n had sex in front of me until they passed out. And Hope used a silencing spell so I couldn't even say anything."

Penelope tried not to laugh and that made a weird feeling in my stomach appear. Not a good weird either. Penelope would have gladly laughed at that. What was wrong?

Penelope got up off the floor and then I noticed that there was a suitcase and a duffle bag packed. Where was she going?

"Penel—" I started but she was quick to cut me off.

"Wait, let me go first." Her eyes looked so sad.

I simply nodded for her to continue.

She took a deep breathe. "I'm leaving the school... For good..."

I felt this weird feeling in my chest. How was she just leaving the school for good?

"What do you mean you're leaving?"

She frowned some more. "I'm moving with my parents to Belgium."

I scoffed. "We're at a boarding school Penelope. What does it matter where your parents live?"

"It doesn't." She sighed sadly.

"Then what is it?" I really didn't understand anymore. She said she would help me with this. We've become so much closer. I know I'm not the only one that feels that.

"I can't be here anymore Landyn." Her voice cracked saying my name.

I took her hands in mine. She always loved holding hands with me. "Whatever it is Penny I can help. Be there for anything you need."
