Shades of Blue

I see with you

Shades of blue

And you make them all

So very beautiful.

Now it's morning

And I wake up, yawning

I see your navy-blue shirt

A wonderfully welcome sight.

I see the pale blue sky

Lying on your lap, and I sigh.

I see the glassy indigo

In the strip of the rainbow.

A marine aqua, I see

In the deep waters of the sea.

And now it's night time

I see the midnight blue sky.

I see the painting on our wall

Cerulean splashes, a soothing call.

I see, on your finger, the band of our love

A rich royal blue now.

I see your eyes, gazing into mine

They shine so bright, a clear cyan.

All the fortune, love and rest

Not for the first time, I feel so blessed.
