(this is a shorter one, sorry)

Everything was dulled. His senses felt like there was a malignance violet coving his vision and an eerie static in his ears. It was oddly...blissful. He wasn't tormented on who to help. Who he was betraying. Who he was hurting.

His sleep was odd. He never thought that it was weird, but compared to everyone else, it was widely different. He supposed that's what he got for being enderman and...whatever he was. Something he preferred to keep a guarded secret.

"Ranboo? Raannbbooooo...Hey! Ranbo! Wake up!"

Ranboo jolted awake, looking around groggily. He looked over at Tubbo, who was standing over him, in offense, as Tubbo had woken him from his peaceful nothing. Stretching, and giving an inhumanly large yawn, he flicked his tail, feeling the blood rush back into it. He had fallen asleep on it.

"Ranboo! You're awake! Hey, why are you sleeping on a tree?" Tubbo tilted his head in curiosity.

Ranboo looked around. "I'm not. I'm under the tree. I'm not on it."

Tubbo shrugged. "You're sitting on it's roots aren't you? Thus, you are indeed sleeping on it."

Ranboo playfully glared at his friend. "Don't confuse me with your logic this early."

"It's 1:38 pm."

"You woke me up okay, I'm not ready to think yet!"

A laugh came from Tubbo, as Ranboo stood, shrugging on the suit coat that lay beside him. The enderman towered over the boy. But that wasn't saying much. He towered over mostly everyone. His multicolored tail corkscrewed around his torso. He preferred to keep it like that, or else he'd turn and knock something off a shelf or slam it into a wall, which hurt more then he'd care to admit.

Ranboo looked down at Tubbo. His brows twitched slightly as he examined the boy. There was something different about him. Dull almost. He was smiling. But there was something off. Something... something Ranboo knew too much about.

"Hey, what's up man?" Ranboo asked, ruffling the hair on Tubbo's head, carful not to catch himself on the boys sharp horns.

"I don't know, I'm just...I'm just not feeling it is all."

"Feeling what?"

Tubbo shrugged. "I just feel..."

"Lonely?"

Tubbo looked up at his rather tall friend, a sad sigh escaping him. "I can't stop thinking about Tommy. I just... I don't understand what would turn him so much! Dream has to have a reason on keeping him away, bu-"

"I wouldn't trust everything that man says," Ranboo said, something close to a growl coming from him.

His eyes had grown cold, and Tubbo shuddered slightly. There was always a reason to keep a nice person happy and safe. They were the most dangerous. If they were mad, there was no stopping their rage.

"Why do you say that?" Tubbo asked, frowning slightly, trying to push the thought of a destruction seeking Ranboo out of his head.

"He's sitting on more secrets then you can shake a stick at. The amount of bodies he has burred..." Ranboo shook his head.

There was a pause. "Why would he shake a stick at it?"

                                                                                                      *

Tubbo sighed. But this time...this time it was a contented sigh. The sun was begging to set and dusk had broke. He sat on the bench, next to Ranboo, looking out over the server. He chuckled, a hint of sadness entering it. Ranboo glanced at him.

"This used to be me and Tommy's spot you know," Tubbo said, leaning against the backrest. He closed his eyes and let his head fall back. "We sat here after we won L'manburg's independence."

"You did? Huh, I guess that was a good memory to have then," Ranboo said, looking back at the burning sky.

"Yeah...yeah it was. You know Ranboo... I don't miss the war. But...I just miss how simple it was. I miss the good old days."

Ranboo nodded. "It's okay. I think Tommy will be back soon. I think things will be simple again."

(hahahaha i dont know what im doing anymore i want to write the ending goal but i need to get there first but i wanna write it but i cant hahahaha😀)
