i woke up and noticed tommy was still sleeping, he had little crusts around his eyes, he must've cried last night. i made some food with what i found and waited for him to wake up.
"y/n!?" i hear him shout
i walk into his tent, he sighs.
"sorry. i thought you left." he says
"no need to be sorry, i made food" i say
"i'm not hungry" he says
"you need to eat. you can't starve yourself to death" i say
"yes i can" he says
i raise an eyebrow and shove a piece of food into his mouth. he was about to spit it out, but i covered his mouth and forced him to eat.
"now just a few more bites" i say
he grabs the plate and eats the rest.
"see? that wasn't too bad was it?" i ask
he shakes his head.
"you're not going anywhere right?" he asks
"sure. i'll stay here" i say
"thanks, i don't like being alone." he says
"i know, it's just who you are" i say
i get up and grab my crutches
"here, you need them more than me" i say
i re-bandage my stomach and tommy's leg.
"i'll have to call ponk to come over and give you a prosthetic" i say
"it doesn't even hurt that bad" he says trying to be manly
i poke at his leg and he winces.
"do you wanna walk?" i ask
...
he gets up and uses the crutches
"tommy!!" i hear it sounded like dream
he goes out of the tent.
"hi dream." he says
i walk out behind me
"hi y/n!!" dream says
i roll my eyes
"you don't get to be here" i say
"that's were you're wrong. i do." he says
tommy looks at me
"no dream you dont, leave tom be" i say
"i don't think i will" he says
"lay back dream" i say
"or what? you think you can hurt me?" he asks
i look at tommy. i grab his arm and run, but since he had one leg i basically was carrying him. i waited until dream stopped chasing us, letting us go.
"thank god." i say
tommy was holding back tears. i could tell.
"what's wrong??" i ask
"my leg." he says
i notice his pant leg covered in blood.
"let's get to technos..quick" i say
he nods and i pick him up, my stomach still in loads of pain, but i don't let it bother me.
