📔 day 145 📔
Danny,
I have come to realise my talent in
red-stone is improving I had managed to make a new addition to my goggles which will make them flip down when a mob or danger is near as to protect my eyes since the last incident, I also found that the new floor that I'm working on is coming together nicely, said floor to my house consists of my new storage room, the mechanics in it makes it so all the things I put into one chest sorts into its place in my storage room it's quite efficient if I do say so myself.

Signed Tommy

I hummed along to the tune of my music disc that rung in my ears still remembering the sweet sound of mellohi as I dug through another wall in my mine

After almost 4 days I had finally found it

A mineshaft

I started to collect things from the chests as something caught my eye

Down the back of a mine cart seemed to be a sort of Orange circle? I had never seen this before

What was it?

I picked it up seeing it had 'Pigstep' engraved into the back of it noticing how it looked identical to my old discs

I shrugged throwing it into my bundle and carried on looking throughout the mine

I had spent over 3 hours or so down the mineshaft collecting loot and rails

I finally headed back up making a jukebox from spare supplies I had and threw on the strange new disc watching it spin

'oh this is nice' I thought to myself finding myself the most relaxed I had been in a long time

I picked my jukebox up heading to my library and placing it by my chair and grabbed a book

I sat for hours on end listening to the sweet sound of the music

I mean it wasn't the best. But it was something

I had missed the sound of music

Truly I missed the sound of talking

The closest I ever got to that was villagers

I put my book I was reading down on the small table and took my reading glasses off replacing them with my goggles And headed into the kitchen

Looking through the window I noticed the sheet of snow was still settled

I headed into my bathroom catching a glimpse of myself in the  mirror

How different I had become

I imagined what it would be like if any of them saw me now

Would they even recognise me?

I noticed how my hair looked a dull blonde and had grown past my shoulders

I now kept my hair in a loose ponytail

I noticed how my skin was pale as a ghosts a similar look of porcelain, as if I'd crack if you'd touch me along with this my cheekbones were overly defined giving me a corpse like look

My cheeks and nose were covered in freckles that would become extremely noticeable in the warmer seasons

Along with that I had a slight orange glint to my cheeks as well as my eyes being no longer a dull grey but more like a light blue

I also had a few scars here and there one across my eye from a small issue I had with a skeleton,  I also had a large scar down my arm from practising fighting, I had more but they were the big ones

My clothes had changed drastically since I left also

My old red and white shirt that sat in my chest connected to my library was now replaced with a black jumper and a large brown trench coat

My old beige trousers were now a pair of blue jeans that I had rolled up at the bottom as to make room for my boots

My boots were a glowing purple from the obsidian and had a light blue reflection at the bottom from the water

I also had a pair of goggles that now sat upon my head made of obsidian

I looked down into the sink and felt water start to pour from my eyes

I hadn't cried in so long

I hadn't felt like this

I didn't want to feel like this

'Just forget about them ' I mumbled looking into the mirror once again

'It's not like they cared'
