~Chapter~

(Stella's POV)

"are you sure this is a good idea babe" Colby asks and I look at him. I don't want to face my mom again especially now that I'm literally about to pop a baby out of me. "I have no choice" I say as I pack the rest of mine and Colby's things.

"You're about to have our baby, I don't know if this is a good idea, what if you go into labor there, or on the plane" Colby says. He's always been super worried lately I mean I don't blame him, I'm literally 38 weeks pregnant. My due date is in two weeks. "I'm okay Colby, I promise, you're going to be with me" I say grabbing my hospital bag too just in case.

{Timeskip}

"Well we're here" I sigh and look at Colby. I haven't talked to my dad in forever, he has no idea of my pregnancy. "Hopefully he doesn't freak." I say and knock on the door. I felt very overwhelmed when I heard my dad come to the door.

"H- STELLA?!" My dad yelled and carefully hugged me. He pulled away and looked at my stomach. "I'm gonna be a grandpa?" He asks smiling. Well that's not the reaction I expected. I nod and he hugs me again. "And you are?" He asks Colby. I smile a bit as Colby puts out his hand "I'm Colby, Stella's boyfriend" Colby said and shakes my dads hand. "Nice to meet you, come in" my dad says opening the door for us.

"So what brings you back up here stells?" My dad asks and I look over at Ava. "Everything okay you guys?" My dad asks looking at me and Ava with a concerning expression. "I- um" Ava tries to say but I blurt out "she's out."

"Dad, moms out of jail" I say trying not to cry. My mom has done so much to this family. "Oh fuck" he says standing up. "How?, she's supposed to have 5 more years" he asks and I shrug. "Let me worry about it, you guys just relax" he says and then adds. "Especially you missy, you don't need the stress" he points to me. "I agree" Colby says looking at me.

"We're gonna stay a few days if that's okay" I say and head up to my old room with Colby.
