George POV

"George, we'll be too late! Hurry up!", I heard Clay screaming from downstairs when I was still packing my stuff after I slept another 20 minutes after I had said I'll be up in a minute.
"I'm coming!", I yelled running downstairs where Clay was already standing in the open door.
"Eat that", Clay gave me a sandwich when I passed him.
"Thanks", I smiled at him.
"You sleepyhead", Clay giggled while we got into the car.

"I already thought you weren't coming anymore", Nick came towards us when we entered the classroom. We had 5 minutes until the teacher would come.
"Sorry, our sleeping beauty didn't want to get up", Clay raised his eyebrows at me.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep again!", I tried to defend myself.
"So, what did you guys do last night?", Nick winked at Clay.
"What?", Clay laughed, "What are you thinking bro?"
"Nick!", I yelled.
"What? You can't completely rule it out", Nick shrugged his shoulders.

"Bro, noon was enough, wouldn't also the night have been a bit too much?", Clay rested his arm on my shoulder.
"It can't be enough for you Clay", Nick laughed, "I mean, you look at George like you would be ready to make out with him and everything in that area. And that all the time!"

I widened my eyes and got red while Clay looked at me with a broad smile.
"I'm really worried about you that you think about that, Nick", Clay giggled.
"You know, I guess he thinks that he is part of this relationship", I pushed Clay's arm off my shoulder.
"Hey, my armrest!", Clay complained.
"I'm not your armrest", I rolled my eyes with a smile.
"Teacher is coming", Nick said and we all quickly sat down on our seats.

Class was extremely boring this day until the headmaster called Clay Frey into his office.
"What? What did you do?", I asked when Clay stood up. He just shrugged his shoulders and quickly caressed my arm before leaving the room. I looked over to Nick and Karl who also just shrugged their shoulders.

Lesson went on another 10 minutes and Clay still wasn't back. I got restless and bobbed my legs up and down. Then finally I heard footsteps. I quickly turned my head to the door and saw Clay coming in with an expressionless face.
"What happened? What's the matter?", I asked frantically when he sat down beside me.
"I'll tell you later", he said and gave me a quick kiss onto my cheek.
What could it have been? Was he in trouble? Was it a bad thing, was it a good thing? Throughout the class, Clay and I had our feet together and sometimes he would stroke my thigh.

"So, what's up now?", I asked when we walked out of the building, holding hands.
"So, at first I had a short confrontation because some of the boys told the headmaster that I had beaten them up. I guess it's fine now, but if he will notice something of it again, I would get in bigger trouble", Clay said calmly.
"What assholes. Such pussys. I never went to the headmaster and told him about you", I said disgusted.
"Yeah, I know. You are at least 10 times stronger than all of them combined. Gosh, they piss me off so much."
"And what's the other thing? Like, you said 'at first', so there has to be something else", I said.

"That just came out of topic. He just said casually that our rugby team currently has too few players and that I would have a good build for that. I should think about playing there", he shrugged his shoulders.
"Ouh, and? Do you want to?"
"Yeah, I think I'll join them. I've wanted to play rugby for a while now anyway, so I guess this is a good opportunity", He put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him as we walked to the car.

"Clay!", I heard a familiar voice from behind. Clay turned around faster than ever and pushed me behind him.
"What do you want Alex?!"
"Clay, calm down", Alex stopped and slowly backed away, "I just wanted to talk."
"And why should I trust you? I would have no reason for that, would I?", Clay looked him deep into the eyes.
"I just wanted to apologize for these assholes. It was dishonorable to tell the teachers about you. I wanted you to know that I was against it", Alex put his hands together behind his back.

"And I should believe you because?", Clay tilted his head.
"There's no proof that I tell the truth. I'm just thinking that if you can change, that I can do that too..."
I looked out from behind Clay and took a few steps towards Alex.
"Don't", Clay grabbed me by my arm to stop me.
"It's fine. I don't trust him either, but you can trust me, can't you?", I smiled at him. I let go of me carefully and slowly followed me.

"Why do you wanna change?", I asked Alex.
"It was all funny and stuff, but a lot has changed and now it just sucks. People change, right?", he tilted his head. I smiled weakly at him and went a few steps further.
"Clay, I won't do anything to him, promise", Alex said when he saw Clay coming with me.
"Nah, I never know that for sure. You are a trickster. I won't let you fool me", Clay said, coming closer to me. I felt like the dog where you can see which people are good, depending on whether the dog likes then or not.

"I don't want to have anything to do with this group anymore. I just don't feel like doing this childish stuff anymore."
I looked at Alex for a while before I finally turned around and said to Clay "Let's go home."
Clay grabbed my arm when I was just about to go and turned to Alex.
"Then join the rugby team with me", he said.
"Well, sure", Alex nodded.
Clay looked at him carefully, then turned and disappeared with me to the car.
