We were all waiting to go into the court room to finalise our adoptions. I was stood staring out the window.
"Hey. Are you okay? You seem nervous," Liam said.
"Court houses freak me out and make me on edge," I said.
"Well this time it's for something good and we'll be right next to you the whole time," Liam said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"10 bucks Fallon cries," I said.
"She already has," Liam said. We looked over to see Fallon crying while holding Fin and playing with her hair. We walked over to Fallon. Fin went to go sit with Mason and Kyle. "Tissues,"
"And waterproof mascara," I said as we both handed them to her. We were called into the court room.
"You're alright," Liam reminded me while rubbing my back walking into the courtroom with the others. Fallon looked at me and fixed my hair.
"You okay?" Fallon asked.
"I get freaked out by court rooms," I said. Fallon looped her arm with mine and we walked into the court room. We sat there as the judge asked us questions. The judge turned to me.
"Ava Prescott, it's nice to see you out of trouble," The judge said.
"Thank you your honor," I said. Fallon and Liam looked at me. "Judge Bramwell was my lawyer 3 years ago when I was arrested," I said. We signed the papers and left.
"I'm starving," Kyle said.
"Come on let's go eat," Fallon said.
"Burgers," Mason, Luke, Kyle, Josh and Evan said.
"We always have burgers," I said. "Seriously, Imma turn into a burger if I eat another one this month,"
"We'll go to a restaurant where everyone can order what they want," Fallon said. We walked to the cars. "Alright who's coming with me?"
"Me," Fin and Evan said.
"Av, you come with me and the boys in Liam's car?" Fallon asked. I nodded. We drove to a restaurant and went to sit down and eat. I sat between Liam and Fallon.
"What are you fancying?" Liam asked.
"Either the lasagne or hunters chicken," I said.
Timeskip
I walked downstairs for breakfast and saw a woman drinking coffee in the kitchen while talking to Liam. I recognized the woman's face and walked to the living room.
"Morning," Fallon said.
"Morning," I said. "Who's Liam talking to in the kitchen?"
"His mom," Fallon said. "Why? What's wrong?"
"Uh remember when I told you about the first time I got arrested about an old woman throwing her heel at me after I pickpocketed her wallet?" I asked.
"Please tell me that you didn't pickpocket Laura Van Kirk," Fallon said.
"I did," I said.
"Okay relax. It was a long time ago you're not the same person anymore," Fallon said. "Now let's go get breakfast," We walked to the kitchen. I felt the woman looking at me.
"Have we met before?" The woman asked.
"No you haven't met Ava before," Liam said.
"They have. The first time Ava got arrested was because she stole your Mom's wallet," Fallon said.
