Tessa

"Tessa?! C'mon! Get up! You have to stop reading, it's already boring to see you reading this. Come with me at this party! I promise you won't regret it."

"I don't know what to say, Molly... I really want to finish this book tonight."

"No! It's not your last day on earth. You can skip reading one night. You need a distraction after what happened with Zed."

"I have a distraction." I lift up my book.

"Well, enough." She walks to me and she takes the book from my hands.

"Molly!"

"Since Zed cheated on you, you were like an old lady. You were reading a lot and you watched twice all the seasons from Friends. Zed is just a prick and you don't need him. In all this big world are hundreds of boys and they are better than him. So, get up, put some sexy clothes on and let's have some fun at this party. You don't have any reason to stay here and cry for an asshole."

"I can't say no, right?"

"That's right." She smiles at me. She's right. I can't cry for a man forever. I have to move on. I have to show him what he lost.

"Ok, fine. I'm coming." I sigh. "But if you dare to leave me alone as last time, I promise to kill you."

"Pinkie promise?" She gives me her pinkie and I cross mine with hers and the we start to laugh. "I just hope you will leave me alone, while you will have fun with someone." She smirks.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Now, let's see what hot outfits you have." She opens my closet.

"Molly... You know that I'm not kind of wearing that kind of clothes."

"I know. But you should wear something sexier than before. This is it!" She takes out a red dress. It has naked back with a v-line and in front it's a pretty deep cleavage. And the length is above the knees.

"Molly... I don't think I can wear it."

"Yes, you can. It's perfect for this party."

"You don't think this shows too much?"

"No! It's perfect."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes! All guys will stare at you. It's time to let Zed in the past and have fun."

"But I still love him..."

"I don't think you still love him. Now, let's get ready for the party, Tessa. Some guys, better than Zed are waiting for you."

"Ok, fine." I sigh and she claps her hands.

I go to take a shower first, then we start to get ready for this party. I let Molly to do my make-up, but I beg her to do something natural. I don't like to have tones of make-up on my face. When she's done with my make-up, I curl my hair and I get dressed. I'm a little bit uncomfortable, because I don't wear a bra under this dress. I just hope nothing will happen. I out on my heels and I'm done.

"Tessa? Are you done?" She comes in my room. "Oh, wow! You look hot. If I was into girl, I definitely make out with you." She laughs.

"Good thing that you are into guys." I laugh as we walk to the entrance.

"Zed lost you and he will never get you back. You were too good for him and now he will suffer, not you. You have to move on, ok?"

"Yes." I smile.

"That's my girl."

Molly was here for me when I found that Zed is cheating on me. She was here and she supported me and I will always grateful to have a friend like her.

We take a cab an after 30 minutes, we arrive at a big house, where is this party. Molly drags me after her until we arrive in the front of the door. The music is too loud, but this is what a party means, right?

We get in the house and we quickly find our friend: Steph, Jake, Landon and Karla.

Molly: "Hi guys! Look who decided to come tonight!"

Tessa: "Hi guys!"

Landon: "Hello, Tessa!"

Jake: "Long time no see, Tessa!"

Steph: "It's nice to have you here."

Karla: "Someone decided to be a bad girl tonight? You decided to break your parents' rules for once?"

Tessa: "If I bother you, I can leave."

Karla: "No, no, no. Just because you stole my boyfriend, doesn't mean you can't stay here. Calm down." She gives me a fake smile. Ugh, this girl is giving me a headache.

Molly: "Karla, stop being rude."

Tessa: "That's fine. She's not hurting me." I smile and I sit on the couch, next to Landon.

Will: "Hello guys! I want to introduce you someone. He is Hardin, one of my old friends from New York. He moves here this week and I wanted to introduce him to you."

Karla: "Hi Hardin! I'm Karla. It's nice to meet you." She smiles at him. Well, I don't think Karla is his type. She's a bitch and he... he seems to be a business man.

Will: "Karla, sorry. But he would never look at you. You are a real Barbie doll and you have to find your Ken." We all start to laugh, except Karla. "Oh, no. I just hurt your little soul? Let's go upstairs and I will make you feel better."

Karla: "Fuck off, Will. Well, who wants a drink? I'm going to take one for me. Anyone?"

Jake: "I don't think someone wants a drink from you."

Karla: "I'm not that bad, Jake. I wont spoil a drink without a reason. See you later, guys." She leaves. Finally, this annoying bitch is gone.

Will: "So, Hardin... These are my friend. Jake, Steph, Molly, Landon and Tessa." He points to all of us.

Steph: "So, Hardin... What are you working?"

Hardin: "I'm in my last year of college. I just transferred at Uni here."

Tessa: "What are you studying?"

Hardin: "English. You?"

Tessa: "What a coincidence! Me too." I smile at him.

Hardin: "Good to know."

Karla: "Don't lose your time with this little whore." She comes back with a glass full of alcohol.

Tessa: "Fuck off, Karla. I think you are the whore." I smile.

Karla: "Oh, really? You stole my boyfriend. Now, who's the whore here?"

Tessa: "I never stole your boyfriend. He left you for what you are."

Karla: "Oh, really?" She let her glass on the table and she comes to me. She wants to put her hand in my hair, but I stop her.

Tessa: "You have no right to do this, bitch."

Will: "Enough ladies. Don't fight for someone who is not here."

Tessa: "I'm not fighting for that cheater. She insulted me and I don't allow something like this. So, if you want me here, she has to leave. You chose: me or her." I stand up and I look around. I can't stand Karla anymore. I'm being a bitch making them to choose, but Karla is annoying.

Jake: "Karla, I think you should leave."

Karla: "What?! You are choosing her over me?! What the fuck is wrong with you, guys?! She's here for less than a year."

Molly: "Well, she was more friendly than you in the last years. So, leave. It's not your place here."

Karla: "I will leave, but we're not done here!" She yells and she leaves.

Molly: "Well, finally she's gone."

Tessa: "She's annoying." I look around and I see Zed. "C'mon guys! You told me he won't be here!" I see him spotting us and he walks to us with a smirk on his face.

Jake: "I had no idea that he is coming... I'm sorry."

Tessa: "You are coming with me." I get up and I drag Hardin after me.

Hardin: "What?"
